Verified by: Patrick Cwiklinski
Missouri sports betting is set to launch December 1, the same day ESPN BET is scheduled to go away. Enter theScore Bet in all states where ESPN BET is currently operating, including Missouri, where it is set to go live.
TheScore Bet Missouri will take over PENN Entertainment’s license, granted this fall by the Missouri Gaming Commission, and be one of nine Missouri sports betting apps available.

Must manually enter promo code DIME to claim offer.
Keep reading for all you need to know about theScore Bet in Missouri, including app details and welcome bonus for launch.
Is theScore Bet Legal in Missouri?
You cannot use theScore Bet in Missouri today, but that will change when sports betting launches on Dec. 1. PENN has market access through its casinos, Hollywood Casino, River City Casino and Argosy Casino.
ESPN BET was set to be part of that launch, but theScore Bet is becoming the new online sportsbook for PENN Entertainment throughout the country on that day, and that will include Missouri.
Sports betting was legalized in Missouri during the November 2024 election, with Amendment 2 passing by a slim margin. That vote opened the door for as many as 14 online sportsbooks and 19 retail locations.

Expected theScoreBet MO Welcome Offer
The bonus that will be available when claiming theScore Bet MO promo code is currently tied to ESPN BET, but if you claim it now, everything will transfer over to theScore Bet.
That offer is a $20 bonus for pre-registering before Dec. 1, and a Bet $10, Get $100 in Bonus Bets If You Win on launch day. It’s a Bet & Get bonus, which is my favorite type of sign-up promo, although you will need to win your first bet to claim the $100.
PENN – through ESPN BET – has also had a First Bet Reset offer in the past. In that offer, you could make a bet up to $1,000, and if it lost, you’d receive bonus bets in the amount of the original wager.

theScore Bet App Review
Not many US bettors have had a chance to use theScore Bet, as it’s not available currently in any US states. It is available in Canada, however, and has established itself as one of the top-rated Canadian sports betting apps.
Here’s a look at what to expect from theScore Bet Missouri app.
Types of Bets Available at theScore Bet
- Moneyline: This is the most straightforward bet you can make – picking who you think will win a game, match, fight, etc. The odds on this tell you who is the favorite, so if the Kansas City Chiefs are listed at -140 on the moneyline against the Broncos, who are listed at +170, the Chiefs are the favorite, and simply need to win for your bet to cash.
- Spreads: These are the most commonly referred to bets, as they give an idea of how much a team is expected to win by. If you pick the Chiefs -2.5 against the Broncos, the Chiefs would need to win by 3 or more in order for your bet to win. Any Broncos win, or loss by 2 or less, would mean the Broncos’ side wins the bet.
- Totals (Over/Under): This is the total score of the game or match. You pick whether you think the teams will combine for more or less points than the listed number.
- Parlays & Same-Game Parlays: Combine multiple bets for the chance at a larger payout. You can combine bets from multiple games for a parlay, or from the same game (SGP). Each pick needs to win for your bet to cash.
- Props: Here you’re betting on specific team or player outcomes, such as someone scoring a touchdown or goal, or how many rebounds they’ll record.
- Live (In-Play) Betting: Make a bet on the game’s outcome or a prop while the game is happening. Odds at theScore Bet will begin to change based on what is happening on the field or court.
- Futures: Bet on the outcome of a future event, like who will win the Super Bowl, World Series or even MVP.
theScore Bet App Pros
✅ Integration With theScore App: You may already have theScore app on your phone to help you check scores and stats. If so, you’ve probably noticed there’s a betting section there now, and when theScore Bet Missouri launches, you’ll be able to track your bets in both apps.
✅ SGP Builder Tool: One of the best features of theScore Bet is the SGP builder which you can find within the game you’re looking to bet on. This intuitive app feature updates your odds and potential winnings in real time.
✅ User-Friendly Interface: The SGP builder is part of an overall easy-to-use and user-friendly app. It’s a clean interface which allows you to focus solely on the bets you want to make.
theScore Bet App Cons
❌ Limited Prop Markets: While you can bet on team and player props at theScore Bet, some users have complained those prop markets are too light. As props continue to grow in popularity, expect this to be addressed.
