The lone NFL Preseason game on Sunday’s schedule goes down tonight, as the Titans host the Seahawks. Tennessee opened their exhibition schedule with a victory over the 49ers, while the defending champs dropped theirs to the Cowboys. Online sportsbooks and prediction markets are siding with the Titans in the latest NFL odds, pegging them as 3.5-point favorites.
Kickoff is scheduled for 8 pm ET from Nissan Stadium, in Nashville, TN, with FOX providing the broadcast coverage. Keep reading for my favorite Seahawks vs Titans expert picks and who’s playing, below.
Seahawks vs Titans Who’s Playing?
As of late Sunday afternoon, here’s what we know about both rosters heading into their showdown. For the second consecutive week, the Titans will play their starters. Cam Ward, Carnell Tate, Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard are expected to dress, with Ward looking for an improvement over his first exhibition showing. The former number one pick completed only 5 of 12 passes for 57 yards, and didn’t connect at all with Tate, a top NFL OROY odds candidate.
When Ward exits, veterans Mitch Trubisky and Will Levis will share the rest of the snaps, and their experience gives Tennessee a huge advantage over Seattle at the QB position. Speaking of the Seahawks, we won’t see Sam Darnold, Jaxon Smith-Njigba or any of the other stars from last year’s Super Bowl odds champions, as Mike Macdonald continues to treat his starters with white gloves. That means a steady dose of Jalen Milroe and Drew Lock under center, with Milroe handling the bulk of the playing time.
Defensively, Seattle’s number ones will rest as well, but that shouldn’t signal a massive output for Tennessee no matter who’s on the field. The Seahawks are deep along the defensive line and in the secondary, with plenty of players with NFL experience patrolling their second and third strings.
Seahawks vs Titans Expert Picks
- Titans -3.5 (52-cents at Kalshi)
Despite the Seahawks defensive depth, I’m still rolling with Tennessee against the spread. They’re currently laying 3.5-points at both online sportsbooks and prediction markets, with Kalshi offering the most favorable line at 52-cents (-108 odds). Don’t forget to claim the Kalshi promo code before making a wager tonight.
This game actually opened up with the Titans favored by 1.5 points, but that line quickly went up once roster plans were announced. The big separator here is the quarterback play, as Tennessee should have a much easier time sustaining drives. Trubisky and Levis are starter caliber QB’s, while you have to expect Ward to be more efficient than his performance last week. Getting Tate involved early will be imperative, and they have the rushing attack to salt this game away once they build a lead. The Titans ran all over San Francisco in their preseason opener, gaining 167 yards and a score on 31 carries.
As for the Seattle offense, a large dose of Milroe shouldn’t excite anyone. He’s now absorbed 8 sacks in his last two preaseson games, while the Seahawks have a major hole at the receiver position. Top reserves Jake Bobo (IR) and Tory Horton are unavailable, leaving Milroe and Lock with a cast of practice squad pass catchers at best. The Titans did an excellent job defensively through the air and on the ground last week, limiting the Niners to 238 passing yards on 44 attempts, and just 3.0 yards per carry.
No one is going to mistake Tennessee with a team ready to soar over their NFL win totals, but they looked pretty good last week, and should be able to handle this JV version of the defending champions.

Moving over to the NFL public betting splits, where the vast majority of the spread action is backing Seattle. The Seahawks are currently garnering 77% of the ATS bets and 72% of the handle. That makes my Titans pick a contrarian stance at -3.5, meaning I’ll be on the same rooting side as online sportsbooks and prediction markets for this matchup.
