  • The Detroit Lions are in Philadelphia visiting the Eagles for the Week 11 edition of Sunday Night Football
  • This feels like a great opportunity for us to take a little more cash from the books
  • See below to find my best Detroit Lions vs Philadelphia Eagles same-game parlay for Nov. 16

We did it! We suffered through so many bad primetime NFL games that we finally made it to a good one. We knew it would happen. There can’t be crap games forever. It’s mathematically impossible. Lucky for us, the streak is ending with what many will call “the best game on the slate.” We’re talking the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles here, people. This could easily be the NFC Championship Game this year. What I think we should do is skip the player props and go right to the main markets. It worked for us on Thursday, and it should work for us tonight. Feels right.

Lions vs Eagles SGP Leg #1 – The Lions Aren’t Losing By More Than A Touchdown

Here’s the thing about this game: I don’t think the Lions should be underdogs. Like, why the hell are they getting points? We’re talking about a 6-3 team that just dropped a 40-burger on somebody last week. They’re legit.

I’m not the only one that thinks so though. Cam Newton does too.

Cam isn’t wrong though. Who the hell have the Eagles played? The Kansas City Chiefs? The Tampa Bay Buccaneers? The Los Angeles Rams? Sure, but they didn’t cover 7.5 points against any of those teams. In fact, the only time they beat anyone by more than 7.5 points is the time they beat the New York Giants by 18. The Giants aren’t the Lions.

The Lions average 6.1 yards per play on offense. That’s tied for third best in the NFL this season. The Eagles simply haven’t seen anything close to what Detroit does on offense. The Rams are similar and they hung 26 on Philly. If we’re being honest, it should have been 30+. I think the Lions hang a 30-piece on these Eagles Sunday Night and if they do, they’ll cover 7.5 points.

DET vs PHI Same-Game Parlay Leg #2 – These Teams Are Scoring Points

Here’s the thing about these SGPs. We have to have something to pair the spread with. We can’t just take the Lions to cover 7.5 points. That’s like -320. We’ll need something to tie it with so we can cut that price a little. Why not water down the over a little?

After all, it’s not like the Eagles don’t have weapons themselves.

I know the haters are going to say that Philly only scored 10 points last week. We all saw what happened. They knew the Packers couldn’t score points on them so they just waited them out. But as we just talked about, that won’t happen against Detroit. We just talked about how the Lions are going to drop points all over Philly.

And once Detroit starts getting loose, the Eagles have the weapons to answer. We’ve already seen them go for 24+ points five times this season. The thing is, we don’t even need 24+ points out of these guys Sunday Night. Just throw us 17+ and we’ll easily clear 40.5. Feels easy.
