Panthers vs 49ers SGP Leg #1 – Tetairoa McMillan Is Legit

Since we think this thing could turn into an aerial assault, we’ll need receivers. It would be dumb not to bet on wide receivers in an aerial assault. That’s just how aerial assaults work. I’m right, look it up.

My favorite pass catcher to target tonight is Tetairoa McMillen. The guy is simply “him.”

Sure, all of the yards and receptions are nice, but the target share that we care most about in this situation. At 26+%, we’re looking at a guy who gets basically forcefed the ball. A wise man once said, “You can catch a ball if it isn’t thrown to you.” That statement is as true today as it ever was.

While we could go to receptions, I’m thinking we should go with receiving yards for this bet. At the end of the day, if he goes over on receptions, he’ll likely go over on receiving yards. The 49ers play a ton of zone while having virtually no pass rush. McMillan is sitting at an 11.4-yard ADOT versus zone this season, so it should only take four to five receptions to get home on 50+ receiving yards. If the Panthers play this game from behind (they are 7-point dogs), Tet should get this easily. Feels right.

CAR vs SF Same-Game Parlay Leg #2 – Ja’Tavion Sanders Is Our Guy

What’s better than one receiver? Two receivers. Two has always been better than one, and this situation is no different. Plus, in any aerial assault, there are multiple guys getting involved. Again, that’s just how aerial assaults work.

Lucky for us (and the Panthers), we’ve got Ja’Tavion Sanders working for us.

Now I know Sanders plays tight end, but whatever. Tight ends are people, too, and they catch passes, so there is that. And when it comes to the Panthers’ tight ends, Ja’Tavion Sanders is the one they want to catch passes. The man has caught at least four in each of the last two games. We only need two out of him tonight.

The best part about this thing is, the 49ers couldn’t cover a tight end if we gave them a tarp. Just last week, they gave up 12 receptions to the position. Twelve. The week before, they gave up 10, and that was to the Rams. The Rams really don’t even use their tight ends like that. All I’m saying is, Ja’Tavion Sanders is catching at least two balls tonight. He might even do it on the first drive. Feels easy.
