In a trend that is also happening in the US, Ontario online casinos posted record revenue in the month of October.

According to the latest report from iGaming Ontario, the province had CA$303.8 million in online casino revenue last month.

October’s numbers were a 9% increase from September’s CA$277.8 million, which also was a monthly record at the time.

This marks the third consecutive month that Ontario has set a monthly iGaming revenue record. It’s the first time the province has surpassed $300 million in a month.

With the addition of online sports betting and online poker, Ontario generated CA$367.7 million in revenue, which was also a new record.

Revenue Continues 40% Growth Year-Over-Year

October marks the third consecutive month that iGaming revenue has been up at least 40% compared to the same month in 2024.

Thus far in 2025, five different months have held that statistic. The lowest year-over-year growth for Ontario came in February, when it was just 30.6%

Overall, through 10 months, online casino revenue in Ontario is up 39% compared to a year ago. The province since at CA$2.53 billion in 2025, well on its way to $3 billion for the calendar year.

Online Wagers Make Big Jump

Sports Betting Dime

Along with the record revenue for these Canadian online casinos, the wagers were up significantly in Ontario for October as well.

The $7.88 billion in wagers was a new record by $541 million, a pretty significant jump for the province.

This jump isn’t terribly surprising, as October has seen large leaps in wagers over the years. Each October has set a new monthly wagering record the last two years, as the graph shows.
