Selecting which team will win, or if they’ll cover the spread is standard but it’s a wager that doesn’t create a buzz quite like hitting on a player who scores a touchdown. That provides instant gratification and keeps games exciting, even if it’s not a close contest, so I’m hunting for players to find pay dirt on Black Friday.

It’s a huge skirmish between two squads fighting for the top seed in the NFC, between the 8-3 Chicago Bears and 8-3 Philadelphia Eagles. Chicago has won four straight while Philly is coming off their first loss in five duels. Adding three players up that I’ve selected for touchdowns would result in a same-game parlay with juicy +2500 odds.

CHI vs PHI TD Pick #1: Jalen Hurts Anytime TD (-105)

My first choice is the second option amongst sportsbooks, and that’s for Eagles QB Jalen Hurts to use his legs to get into the end zone. That’s something he’s done eight times on the campaign, second most for QB’s (Josh Allen, 10).

After finding pay dirt just once in the previous five outings by running the football, Hurts has rushed for three in his last two duels to get back on track.

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley hasn’t vultured touchdowns away from Hurts at all, as he has just one rushing TD in the last seven contests. The Bears have been susceptible to touchdowns to ball carriers, surrendering five in the last three times competing, with two to quarterback Jaxson Dart in Week 10.

Bears vs Eagles TD Pick #2: A.J. Brown Anytime TD (+150)

Next I’m eyeing another Eagle in receiver A.J. Brown, who has had a tumultuous season at the helm, but is coming off an eight catch, 110 yard performance that led to a TD against Dallas. That was his second highest yardage output of the season, with the most being 121 yards versus Minnesota, along with a pair of touchdowns.

Chicago has been extremely susceptible to allowing wideouts to torch them, giving up 16 scores, tied for second most in the NFL. They’re allowing two passing strikes per outing on the campaign, which is tied for third worst in the league.

Brown has recorded three TD’s in his last four skirmishes, so he and Jalen Hurts might have, at least temporarily, gotten back on the same page, where he can get a touchdown.

CHI vs PHI Touchdown-Scorer Pick #3: Colston Loveland Anytime TD (+427)

For my final selection I’m going with Bears rookie tight end Colston Loveland to get past Philly and give Chicago six points. The first round pick has really blossomed after a slow start to his career, posting the top-four highest receiving yardage outputs in his last four times competing.

In those four battles, Loveland has gotten a TD on three occasions, including last week versus Pittsburgh. In the last four contests, second year QB Caleb Williams has thrown for seven touchdowns, which can only benefit Loveland’s chances of snagging another TD.

If you’re feeling especially frisky, including Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown and Colston Loveland in a same-game TD parlay pays out at a cool +2500.
