US Online Casino Revenue Soars To Record $969.7 Million in October

October was a big month for online casinos in the United States.
The seven iGaming states combined for $969.7 million in revenue, blowing past the previous record of $910.4 million in August.
Along with nearly a $60 million jump in record revenue, October’s numbers were over $200 million more than the $762 million the states did in October of 2024.
Each of the seven online casino states reported record revenue for the month of October.
US Online Casino Revenue Up 27% in October
The rapid growth of online casino revenue took an even bigger step in October.
Compared to a year prior, revenue for the month was up $207.7 million, a 27.3% increase.
Each state saw increases year-over-year of at least 20%
Here’s a look at each of the seven iGaming state’s year-over-year comparison for October. It should be noted that some states individually report their adjusted gross revenue (AGR), which removes promotional spend from their wins. This table reflects the gross gaming revenue, which is the total prior to the promo spending being taken out.
Online Casino Revenue Nearing Milestone
October’s numbers go beyond just being another record.
Pennsylvania became the first state to surpass $300 million in monthly revenue, and blew past that by a wide margin.
October’s jump up in revenue pushes the country closer to $1 billion in monthly revenue. With each state setting a new record in the month, you can’t expect these revenue numbers to slow down any time soon.
The graph below showcases how each state is performing throughout 2025. The upward trends continue throughout the year with no plateau in site.
The top three states are doing most of the lifting, producing $851.3 million of the $969.7 million total. That makes up 87.8% of the revenue for the US in October.
While those three states are going to do most of the driving of revenue, it will be the smaller states that eventually push the US to that $1 billion milestone.
