The Oregon vs Indiana odds are out for the CFP Peach Bowl semifinal, and the betting market is backing the undefeated Hoosiers despite the Ducks’ dominant quarterfinal performance.
Oregon shut out Texas Tech 23-0 in the Orange Bowl on Thursday afternoon, then watched Indiana dismantle Alabama 38-3 at the Rose Bowl later that night. Now these two Big Ten powers meet again with a trip to Miami on the line.
The college football odds show Indiana as 4.5-point favorites, flipping the script from their regular-season meeting when Oregon was favored big at home.

Oregon Defense Dominates, But Offense Struggles
Oregon shut out Texas Tech 23-0 in the first quarterfinal game Thursday. The Ducks forced four turnovers and held the Red Raiders to 215 yards, recording just the third shutout in CFP history.
Freshman cornerback Brandon Finney Jr. grabbed three takeaways – two interceptions and a fumble recovery. Dante Moore threw for 234 yards while Jordon Davison rushed for two touchdowns.
But the offensive performance raised concerns. Oregon managed just 64 yards on 47 carries, averaging 1.4 yards per rush. The offensive line struggled badly against Texas Tech’s front, and things won’t get easier against Indiana’s elite run defense.
The Ducks controlled possession for 38 minutes compared to Texas Tech’s 22. Their defense bailed them out, but they’ll need better balance against the Hoosiers.
Indiana Dominates Alabama in Rose Bowl
The Hoosiers destroyed Alabama 38-3 in Pasadena. Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza completed 14 of 16 passes for 192 yards and three touchdowns.
Indiana’s defense held Alabama to just 193 total yards and 3-of-11 on third down. Kaelon Black rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries while the Hoosiers controlled possession for over 25 minutes.
Alabama managed just 23 rushing yards on the day. The Crimson Tide went 0-for-2 on fourth down and turned it over once. Ty Simpson completed 12 of 16 passes for just 67 yards before leaving the game with an injury.
Curt Cignetti’s squad improved to 14-0, the only undefeated team left in college football. The Hoosiers are currently -182 favorites in the National Championship odds to make the title game.
Recapping Indiana’s Regular-Season Win over Oregon
Indiana stunned the Ducks 30-20 as 7-point underdogs in Eugene on October 11. The Hoosiers sacked Moore six times and picked him off twice, snapping Oregon’s 18-game home winning streak.
Mendoza threw for 215 yards and a fourth-quarter touchdown to Elijah Sarratt that put Indiana ahead for good. Roman Hemby rushed for two scores while Indiana’s defense frustrated the Ducks all game.
Brandon Finney had a pick-six to tie the game at 20-20 in the fourth quarter. But Mendoza responded immediately with the go-ahead touchdown, then Louis Moore sealed it with another interception.
Dan Lanning admitted after the loss that Indiana was “more prepared” and “better coached” that day. The Ducks struggled on third down and couldn’t protect Moore against Indiana’s relentless pressure.
Oregon vs Indiana Spread & Line Movement
The Oregon vs Indiana spread sits at 4.5 with the Hoosiers favored. Expect possible movement throughout the week as sharp money likely targets the total.
Both teams rank in the top 15 nationally in scoring defense. Oregon allowed just 15.1 points per game while Indiana gave up only 10.1. The Ducks held opponents to 4.3 yards per play, the Hoosiers allowed 4.6.
Oregon vs Indiana Defensive Stats
The total of 47.5 looks too high. Indiana’s defense allowed just seven passing touchdowns all season. No opposing quarterback threw more than one touchdown pass against the Hoosiers in 2025.
Oregon’s offense struggled badly on the ground against Texas Tech, managing just 64 yards on 47 carries. The offensive line had its worst game of the season. Indiana’s front seven will pose an even tougher test.
Indiana’s run defense allows 2.9 yards per carry. Oregon gives up 3.3 YPC. When two teams this good against the run meet, points are hard to come by.
Sharp bettors will likely hammer the under all week. These are two complete teams built on defense. The total could drop a few points by kickoff.
