For the second time this season, the Green Bay Packers (9-7-1, 4-4-1 away) will visit the Chicago Bears (11-6, 6-2 home) at Soldier Field, this time in the Wild Card Round of the 2026 NFL playoffs. The Bears eked out a 22-16 overtime thriller over the Packers back in Week 16.
But the Bears need to mount a fourth-quarter comeback in that one, after Green Bay QB1 Jordan Love had exited due to injury.
The opening Packers vs Bears odds for the Wild Card Round project another razor-thin margin.
Opening Packers vs Bears Spread & Odds (Wild Card)
The opening moneyline has the game as a pick’em, with both teams priced at -110 to win. The Bears are listed at -1.5 against the spread, but with even-money odds to cover. Packers +1.5 is priced at -120.
The game total is sitting at 47.5 with the under slightly favored at -115. The teams combined for 49 points in Green Bay’s 28-21 win at Lambeau in Week 14, but just 38 (and only 32 in regulation) during the Week 16 rematch back in Chicago.

GB vs CHI Team Stats Comparison
The Bears lead the Packers in a lot of surface-level metrics, including points per game, yards per game, and turnover differential, where they lead the entire NFL.
But the Packers have the better numbers when you dive deeper, sitting significantly higher in both EPA and DVOA. The fact that Chicago had the league’s best turnover margin fits this narrative; turnover differential often regresses to the mean over time and has not proven a strong indicator of future success.
The big question for Green Bay heading into next weekend will be the health of QB1 Jordan Love. He hasn’t played since getting knocked out of the game at Soldier Field in Week 16. He wasn’t listed on Green Bay’s most-recent injury report, though, and was held out of Week 18 ostensibly to get more rest, rather than because of his concussion recovery.
