Seattle Opens as Big Favorite Over San Francisco
The 49ers dethroned the champion Eagles in Philadelphia on Sunday, earning a 23-19 road win as six-point underdogs. Next week, they’ll be staring down an even bigger spread, at least if the opening lines hold. The Niners are currently seven-point road underdogs at Seattle in the teams’ third meeting of the season.
San Francisco beat the Seahawks 17-13 in Seattle, but that was all the way back in Week 1. The Seahawks took a 13-3 decision in Week 18 in the Bay Area.
Bears Home Underdogs … Again
The Bears looked dead in the water when they fell behind Green Bay 21-6 in the Wild Card Round. But a furious fourth-quarter comeback by Caleb Williams and company led Chicago to a thrilling 31-28 victory as 1.5-point home underdogs.
Next weekend, they’ll host the Rams as even bigger ‘dogs, currently catching 4.5 points in the opening odds for the Divisional Round.
