Benoit Saint Denis has finished four of his past seven wins by knockout, and has a great chance to add to his list of victims against Dan Hooker at UFC 325. Hooker has taken four knockout losses and absorbs a high 4.8 strikes per minute. Look for BSD’s explosive pressure to power him to a finish in Sydney.
Tallison Teixeira is a knockout machine. Seven of the Brazilian’s eight career victories have come by way of knockout, and that’s likely to continue at UFC 325. He was caught with a huge shot by Derrick Lewis last time out, but Tai Tuivasa, who’s lost five straight fights presents the perfect opportunity to get back in the win column. Teixeira’s reach advantage and technical striking edge will lead to an early knockout.

Let’s combine three fighters with significant style advantages to win at UFC 325.
In their first bout, Alexander Volkanovski made mincemeat out of Diego Lopes, outstriking the Brazilian 158-63 with 61% accuracy. Even at 37-years-old, Volk’s superior footwork and takedown defense will be more than enough to neutralize Lopes’ aggressive brawling style.
Volkanovski’s cardio looks as good as ever, and his striking output and consistency (5.8 significant strikes landed per minute) make him the pick against Lopes high-risk style. With the home crowd in Sydney cheering him on, expect another workmanlike victory from Alexander “the Great”.
Meanwhile, Benoit Saint Denis is one of the most dangerous lightweights in the game. He’s finished three straight wins in devastating fashion, and is looking to add Dan Hooker to his long list of UFC stoppage wins. Hooker is coming off a submission loss and has been finished in three of his past four bouts. Back Saint Denis to dominate his opponent in Sydney and make a case for the lightweight division’s next title shot.
Promising Brazilian lightweight Mauricio Ruffy has won three of his four bouts since entering the UFC, and should edge Fizier in a striker’s duel.
