My Ducks vs Sharks prediction is the over. The moneyline is too close to call in a game with no clear edge, but the goal total is where I see value.

The over has cashed in the last three meetings between these teams, and both clubs play in high-scoring games when they’re in these situational spots.

San Jose has seen the over hit in nine of its last 11 home games following a win. Anaheim matches that trend on the flip side, with the over cashing in 13 of the Ducks’ last 19 games after a loss.

Yaroslav Askarov is confirmed to start for San Jose. The 22-year-old is coming off a 5-4 win over St. Louis on Monday, where he stopped 22 of 26 shots (.846 SV%).
