  • The Vegas Golden Knights look to take a 3-1 series strangehold on the Anaheim Ducks in a crucial Game 4
  • Mitch Marner is coming off a dominant Game 3 that saw him record a natural hat trick
  • See the betting lines, my prediction and player props for Vegas vs Anaheim Game 4 Sunday

The Vegas Golden Knights are up 2-1 in their second round series with the Anaheim Ducks and both teams hit the ice for a pivotal Game 4 Sunday evening. Puck drop is slated for 6:30 PM PT / 9:30 PM ET Sunday at the Honda Center and the NHL odds have installed the visitors as favorites.

The Golden Knights have dictated the pace of the series thus far, leaving Leo Carlsson and the home underdogs desperate for answers to avoid falling into a daunting elimination hole. In the Stanley Cup odds, Vegas is the third favorite at +550, while the Ducks are the longest shot on the board at +4500. Continue reading for my game preview and betting lines, along with my favorite bets for tonight’s duel.

Golden Knights vs Ducks Best Bets & Predictions

Best Game Pick: Over 6.5 Goals (-102 at DraftKings)

Backing the Over is my play for Game 4, supported by a pair of dominant betting trends for both clubs. The Over has hit in 13 of the Ducks’ last 17 games at home after a loss. Meanwhile, the Golden Knights have seen the Over cash in four of their last five road games when favored.

Both teams have brought plenty of offensive firepower to the postseason. Through nine playoff games this spring, the Golden Knights are averaging 3.67 goals per contest, while the Ducks are right on their heels, averaging 3.56 markers per game. They’re the third and fourth highest scoring teams in the postseason.

Golden Knights vs Ducks Top Player Props

Leo Carlsson Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (+114 at Caesars)

With the Ducks trailing in the series, expect Leo Carlsson to take matters into his own hands on home ice. He’s been firing at will lately, eclipsing 3.5 shots on goal in nine of his last eleven games. During that span, he is averaging an incredible 4.73 shots per game.

He has also been a reliable offensive engine at the Honda Center, recording a point in 6 straight home contests. Snagging his Over at 3.5 shots on goal provides exceptional value at +114 odds.

Golden Knights vs Ducks Public Betting Splits

  • Moneyline: In the NHL public betting trends the Ducks are drawing the lion’s share of the outright money, commanding 71% of the moneyline handle despite only accounting for 37% of the total tickets.
  • Puck Line: When it comes to the spread, the cash heavily favors the road team. 80% of the puck line stake is backing the Golden Knights ATS.
  • Total: The betting public and big-money players are aligned on a low-scoring affair, with a whopping 91% of the total handle pouring in on the Under.
