The 2026 World Series of Poker has concluded, with 100 total poker events scheduled for the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas casinos starting on May 26 and concluding on July 15.

2026 WSOP Main Event Recap

The 2026 World Series of Poker Main Event concluded on Aug. 5 when the final table was whittled down to 1 winner. Initially, over 9,000 poker players were contending for the top prize. The $10,000 buy-in for this No Limit Hold’Em is always the most sought after championship each year.

On Wednesday, Aug. 5, initial final table chip leader Lucas Jumalon of Spokane, Washington came away with the $10 million top prize. He bested Lauri Saaskilahti in the final hand, landing a pair of 6’s on the board to match his King of spades, 6 of diamonds hand.

At 22, Jumalon became the second-youngest to win the WSOP Main Event.
