Alberta launched its legal and regulated online casino market today, July 13
Alberta online casinos were first approved in the province in May 2025
This marks the second province to offer regulated iGaming, joining Ontario

Alberta online casinos are now legal and regulated in the province.

Under the regulation of the Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC) Commission, iGaming was allowed to begin in the province.

Altogether, around 50 different operators applied and received approval from the AGLC to offer Alberta online casinos.
