Los Angeles Chargers
Established in 1960 in Los Angeles before spending over five decades in San Diego (1961–2016), the Chargers won the 1963 AFL title behind innovative coach Sid Gillman. In the late 1970s and 1980s, the “Air Coryell” passing offense revolutionized modern NFL scheme, later leading to a 1994 AFC Championship. The team relocated back to Los Angeles in 2017. Canton greats include Lance Alworth, Dan Fouts, Kellen Winslow, Fred Dean, LaDainian Tomlinson, and Antonio Gates.

Located in Inglewood, California, SoFi Stadium is shared between the Chargers and Rams. The architectural marvel features an independently supported, translucent fixed ETFE canopy and open sides, seating 70,240 spectators on a Matrix Turf with Helix synthetic surface.
SoFi Stadium’s open-sided canopy design provides the best of both worlds: protection from direct sunlight and rare Southern California rainfall while allowing natural Pacific ocean breezes to circulate freely through the seating bowl. Weather disruptions are virtually nonexistent, maintaining consistent, temperate playing conditions year-round.
