Fanatics Betting and Gaming today announced a new multi-year partnership with the NFL, which will see Fanatics Sportsbook named as an official sports betting partner of the league.
The multi-year partnership names Fanatics Sportsbook as an official sports betting partner of the NFL and Fanatics Casino as an official online casino partner of the NFL. No monetary terms were disclosed in the agreement.
The partnership is not an exclusive between the NFL and Fanatics Betting and Gaming, but comes after the NFL’s previous sports betting partnerships with DraftKings, FanDuel, and Caesars expired in April.
New Multi-Year Partnership
Fanatics Betting and Gaming today announced the partnership with the NFL. Earlier today, Bill King with the Sports Betting Journal reported the partnership between the sports betting operator and the NFL as a done deal.
The new partnership will provide Fanatics Betting and Gaming with access to NFL media inventory, including in-game advertising and media sponsorships with the NFL’s media partners. Additionally, both Fanatics Sportsbook and Fanatics Casino will gain access to NFL hospitality and premium fan experiences, including Super Bowl assets, VIP experiences at marquee league events, and other fan engagement throughout the NFL calendar.
The gaming platforms will also receive marketing rights to leverage NFL intellectual property, such as league, team and marquee event marks such as the Super Bowl and NFL Draft.
Fanatics Sportsbook is available in 22 states and Washington, D.C., while the Fanatics Casino is available online in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Not An Exclusive Partnership
The partnership between Fanatics Betting and Gaming and the NFL is not an exclusive agreement. While Fanatics Sportsbook and Fanatics Casino are now official partners with the league, it does not preclude the NFL from reaching partnership agreements with other gaming companies as it moves into the season.
However, Fanatics Betting and Gaming is the only present sports betting and iGaming partner of the NFL. The NFL’s previous multi-year sports betting partnership deals with DraftKings, FanDuel, and Caesars Sportsbook expired in April, leaving the league without any official sports betting partners since opening up partnership bids in 2021.
Fanatics already has a current partnership with the NFL. The company announced an exclusive, long-term retail partnership with the league in April.
