Michigan Online Casino Revenue For August Totals $303.0 Million

For the sixth consecutive month, Michigan online casino revenue surpassed $300 million.

In August, the 15 collective MI online casinos tallied just over $303.0 million in revenue

August’s total was a 15.1% increase compared to a year ago, when the state brought in $263.3 million.

Michigan’s August online casino revenue brought in $61.2 million in state tax revenue, along with an additional $21.9 million going to city and local jurisdictions.

Lowest Growth Rate of 2026

While the year-over-year growth for Michigan online casino revenue in August was still strong, the 15.1% was the lowest the state’s iGaming industry has seen in 2026.

The 15.1% in August dropped the yearly growth below 22%, but Michigan is still 21.4% ahead of where it was a year ago, a difference of $424.5 million.

Even with August being the lowest growth for iGaming revenue, Michigan still fared better than top competitors New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

New Jersey saw its lowest-ever growth rate for a month in August at just 4.4%, bringing in $259.3 million last month.

Pennsylvania had its second-largest revenue month ever with $328.6 million in August, but that was just 12.7% growth year-over-year.
