We’ve got a loaded slate of college football games today, and I’ve identified three props that are worth betting right now. Florida State heads to Alabama, Michigan State visits Notre Dame and Tulane travels to Kansas State, with all three visiting quarterbacks facing a stiff test.

Passing volume and the ability to keep drives alive matter most to this week’s selections, so keep reading for my favorite Saturday college football player props and best bets for Sep. 19.

Saturday College Football Best Bets for Sep. 19

CFB Player Prop Pick #1: Ashton Daniels (Florida State) Over 147.5 Passing Yards

• Pick: Ashton Daniels Over 147.5 Passing Yards (-115 at bet365)

Ashton Daniels threw for 202 yards against New Mexico State before finishing with 125 in Florida State’s 27-24 loss to SMU. I’m backing him to clear 147.5 against Alabama, with the Seminoles likely to need more from their passing game to stay within reach. Lock in this line now with the bet365 bonus code.

He attempted 27 passes in the opener and 23 against SMU. That workload gives him a realistic path to 148 yards without needing a breakout performance. Florida State also had last weekend off, giving Daniels additional preparation time for the trip to Tuscaloosa.

Alabama is a National Championship odds contender and a 19.5-point favorite in the college football odds, so I expect Florida State to spend more time chasing the score than protecting a lead. That should keep passing opportunities available beyond the opening possessions.

Daniels’ legs are the main concern for this Over. He ran 16 times for 71 yards against SMU, and scrambles will not help his passing total. Even so, I like the modest yardage requirement at -115, with four quarters to get there.

CFB Player Prop Pick #2: Alessio Milivojevic (Michigan State) Under 168.5 Passing Yards

• Pick: Alessio Milivojevic Under 168.5 Passing Yards (-114 at Caesars Sportsbook)

Alessio Milivojevic has started well: 417 passing yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions through two games. He has completed 38 of 54 attempts, or 70.4%. The Irish have allowed 13 points through two games. Last week they beat Rice 52-0, holding the Owls to 128 total yards and two conversions on 12 third-down attempts. That ability to end possessions is the biggest reason I’m taking this passing-yard Under.

Michigan State presents a better passing test than Rice, and Milivojevic’s accuracy deserves respect. But this is his first road start of the season, after home wins over Toledo and Eastern Michigan. I expect fewer comfortable possessions against the Irish.

Milivojevic can complete a decent percentage of his throws and still stay below 169 yards if Notre Dame limits gains and forces punts. I’m backing the defense to do enough of both to keep him Under 168.5.

CFB Player Prop Pick #3: Kadin Semonza (Tulane) Under 161.5 Passing Yards

• Pick: Kadin Semonza Under 161.5 Passing Yards (-115 at bet365)

Kadin Semonza threw for 212 yards on 14-of-22 passing in Tulane’s 28-24 win over South Alabama. I’m taking the Under this week because Kansas State has been much harder to sustain drives against.

The Wildcats held Washington State to 95 passing yards. Opponents have converted just six of 28 third downs, and Kansas State’s defense has yet to allow an offensive touchdown. Two games are a small sample, but the consistency in getting off the field supports this pick.

Tulane has converted only nine of 26 third downs. Semonza’s season total of 352 passing yards also needs context: he entered the opener at halftime, so those numbers do not represent two full starts. Last week’s 212-yard outing is the better measure of his workload.

Jaylin Lucas supplied 214 rushing yards in Tulane’s recent win, giving them another way to move the ball. I expect the Green Wave to keep using the ground game, while Kansas State makes passing downs difficult. At 161.5, bet365 gives me three more yards of room than the opening 158.5 yard line and a slightly better price.
