  • The Week 6 college football player props menu is loaded with early value
  • My early targets include two passing totals and a rushing prop
  • Check out the early college football player props for Week 6, featuring Manning, Bachmeier and more

It’s hard to believe but we’re already on to Week 6 on the college football calendar. My early Week 6 college football player props focus on Texas-Oklahoma, Iowa State-BYU and Florida State-Louisville. Two of those games are Friday, so there is less time to compare the opening numbers.

I am looking at passing and rushing totals through each offense’s ability to sustain drives. Third-down conversions and red-zone opportunities help explain the matchups, but player volume matters too.

Below are my three early college football props for Week 6, featuring Manning, Bachmeier and more.

Early College Football Player Props for Week 6

Player/MarketPickOdds/Source
Arch Manning, Passing YardsOver 221.5-114 (bet365)
Bear Bachmeier, Passing YardsOver 204.5-114 (bet365)
Ousmane Kromah, Rushing YardsOver 78.5-114 (bet365)

When evaluating these numbers, I always prioritize offensive units that sustain drives and avoid negative plays. Those team numbers help frame the picks, but they do not guarantee a player’s workload.

1. Week 6 College Football Player Prop: Arch Manning, Texas Longhorns

  • Pick: Arch Manning Over 221.5 Passing Yards (-114 at bet365)

My Arch Manning passing-yards pick starts with the Texas vs Oklahoma matchup at the Cotton Bowl. The Longhorns are averaging an impressive 33.2 points and 378.5 total yards per game. Manning, a Heisman Trophy odds contender, has completed 73 of 115 passes for 862 yards, seven touchdowns and three interceptions in four games. His 215.5-yard average is below this line, so the over needs a better-than-average afternoon.

Texas has sustained drives, boasting a 50 percent third-down conversion rate while capitalizing on 89.5 percent of their red-zone trips. The Sooners defensive front has generated 13 sacks and recovered three fumbles. However, Manning has the surrounding cast and early-down passing efficiency to dictate the overall tempo and avoid mistakes.

The current line lists this passing total at a 221.5 yards. Since the Longhorns excel at keeping the chains moving and winning the turnover margin, I like the potential for sustained drives, although Oklahoma’s pass rush can interrupt them. Compare the current college football odds as the rivalry approaches.

2. Week 6 College Football Player Prop: Bear Bachmeier, BYU Cougars

  • Pick: Bear Bachmeier Over 204.5 Passing Yards (-114 at bet365)

My Bear Bachmeier passing-yards pick leans on BYU’s ability to extend drives against Iowa State. The Cougars operate with an elite 57.4 percent third-down conversion rate and score a robust 37.2 points per game. Bachmeier threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns against Arizona, but the TCU box score lists just 62 passing yards in last week’s 17-10 win. This over needs a rebound from that run-heavy game.

Iowa State presents a ball-hawking defense that has already recovered five fumbles, intercepted two passes, and brought down the quarterback for nine sacks. Despite this solid defensive havoc rate, the BYU offensive infrastructure provides an excellent environment to mitigate negative plays and sustain long, methodical scoring drives on Friday night.

The line rose from 197.5 to 204.5 passing yards at -114. The feed verifies the move, but does not identify who drove it. Because the Cougars excel at moving the chains consistently, I still lean over, with the higher number making this a less attractive entry than the opener. 3. Week 6 College Football Player Prop: Ousmane Kromah, Florida State Seminoles

  • Pick: Ousmane Kromah Over 78.5 Rushing Yards (-114 at bet365)

My Ousmane Kromah rushing-yards pick targets Florida State’s ground game against Louisville. The Seminoles have generated 970 rushing yards this season. Kromah ran 17 times for 80 yards against Virginia, narrowly above this week’s 78.5 line. Florida State has scored on all 21 red-zone trips.

Kromah will navigate an outdoor matchup on the artificial surface at Louisville. The Cardinals defense has recorded eight sacks and four interceptions, but they can be worn down by a methodical rushing attack. Controlling the game script and the time of possession is the ultimate priority for this Florida State offense.

The market has held steady on Kromah since opening, standing at 78.5 rushing yards. I lean over if Kromah keeps that workload, though quarterback Ashton Daniels and Quintrevion Wisner also take rushing opportunities. Daniels ran for 136 yards and Wisner 46 against Virginia, so the distribution of carries is worth watching. New users can claim the bet365 promo code to score a bonus to use on this game.
