Texas and Oklahoma meet October 10 at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC at the neutral-site Cotton Bowl. The rivalry setting adds uncertainty, but the available team and player data still provide a useful framework for evaluating Texas vs. Oklahoma player props.

Texas enters with 378.5 total yards per game. Arch Manning is listed at 73-for-115 for 862 passing yards and seven touchdowns, while Raleek Brown has 196 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Oklahoma quarterback John Mateer has 883 passing yards and eight touchdowns, and Isaiah Sategna III has 267 receiving yards. These numbers support a measured look at passing and scoring markets rather than a blanket prediction about the game script.

Texas vs Oklahoma Player Props

My Texas vs Oklahoma player props target Manning’s passing volume and scoring ability, plus a touchdown through the air from Mateer.

PlayerPickPrice
Arch Manning (TEX)Anytime touchdown+155 at BetMGM
Arch Manning (TEX)Over 212.5 passing yards-115 at TheScoreBet
John Mateer (OKLA)Over 0.5 passing TDs-155 at Bet365
Ryan Wingo (TEX)Over 49.5 receiving yards-125 at BetMGM

Texas vs Oklahoma Prop Pick: Arch Manning Passing Yards

  • Pick: Arch Manning OVER 212.5 passing yards (-115 at TheScoreBet)

My Manning passing-yard prediction starts with Texas extending drives. The Longhorns have completed 30 of 60 third-down attempts, a 50.0% conversion rate, which is relevant because sustained possessions can create additional opportunities for a quarterback. Manning has thrown for 862 yards on 115 attempts, averaging roughly 7.5 yards per attempt. That profile gives him a reasonable statistical foundation if Texas maintains its normal passing role for Manning.

At 7.5 yards per attempt, Manning would need roughly 29 attempts to reach 211 yards. That is the passing-volume angle I am backing in this rivalry: enough sustained drives to give him opportunities beyond a handful of explosive plays.

Texas vs Oklahoma Prop Pick: John Mateer Passing Touchdowns

  • Pick: John Mateer OVER 0.5 passing touchdowns (-155 at Bet365)

My Mateer passing-touchdown pick needs just one score through the air. He has eight passing touchdowns this season. Oklahoma’s available team data also shows a minus-six turnover differential, a possible source of volatility in this matchup. Turnovers can shorten a team’s field position or limit possessions, so the selection depends on Oklahoma converting enough of its drives into scoring chances rather than simply accumulating yardage.

I prefer Mateer passing touchdowns to asking him for a big-yardage afternoon against Texas. A short scoring pass counts just as much as a deep one. At -174, this is the shortest-priced standalone pick on my Red River card.

Texas vs Oklahoma Prop Pick: Arch Manning Anytime Touchdown

  • Pick: Arch Manning anytime touchdown scorer (+155 at BetMGM)

My Manning anytime-touchdown pick is a separate angle from his passing props. He has 82 rushing yards this season, giving him a path to scoring on a keeper or scramble. A passing touchdown does not cash this bet; Manning must reach the end zone himself.

Texas vs Oklahoma Best Bets

For my Tevs.s vs Oklahoma best bets, I am pairing Manning’s passing-yard over with anytime touchdown upside. The yardage bet targets sustained passing volume, while the scorer prop benefits if Manning finishes a possession on the ground. They can win together without requiring the same play.

Texas’ 50.0% third-down rate and Manning’s 862 passing yards support the passing-yard angle. Mateer’s eight passing touchdowns make his one-score target appealing on the other side. I am keeping these individual bets separate from the higher-variance parlay below.

Red River Rivalry Parlay

My Red River Rivalry parlay links Texas passing volume with Manning’s scoring involvement. Wingo’s receiving over fits that script because his catches contribute directly to Manning’s passing total. Individual prices below are from different books; a same-game parlay requires all three legs from one sportsbook, and the combined price is displayed with its yield.

  • Leg 1: Arch Manning OVER 212.5 passing yards (-115 at TheScore Bet).
  • Leg 2: Ryan Wingo OVER 49.5 receiving yards (-125 at BetMGM).Wingo has 239 receiving yards this season, making his listed receiving market relevant to a Texas passing-volume angle.
  • Leg 3: Arch Manning anytime touchdown scorer (+155 at BetMGM).

These legs are correlated conceptually, but the bookmaker may adjust the combined price or restrict the combination. Do not multiply individual prices to estimate the SGP payout; use the operator’s displayed parlay price.

Odds as of the evening of October 10, 11:22 AM ET from TheScore Bet, BetMGM, Bet365 and Caesars Sporsbook
