Best NHL Player Prop Bets for Monday

NHL Prop Pick #1: Nathan MacKinnon Over 3.5 Shots

  • Pick: Nathan MacKinnon over 3.5 shots on goal (-135) at theScore Bet

Hart Trophy odds candidate Nathan MacKinnon has cleared 3.5 shots on goal in three of his last four games against opponents with losing records, averaging 5.8 shots in that split. Philadelphia has allowed 32.8 shots and 3.2 goals per game, giving MacKinnon a matchup that can support both shot volume and Colorado’s offensive chances.

The Avalanche visit the Flyers at 7 p.m. ET. MacKinnon’s shot generation is the central reason to back the over at -135, without needing him to score or record a point. New users can sign up with theScore Bet promo code and score a bonus to use on this game.

NHL Prop Pick #2: Erik Karlsson Over 0.5 Assists

  • Pick: Erik Karlsson over 0.5 assists (+115) at theScore Bet

Erik Karlsson has recorded an assist in four straight road games, averaging 1.2 assists over that stretch. Karlsson’s role as a Pittsburgh power-play distributor gives him a prime route to set up a goal.

Utah has allowed 2.89 goals per game and its penalty kill is operating at 73.3%. That creates a favorable special-teams angle for the Penguins’ playmaker, while Karlsson’s recent road assists offer the most directly relevant evidence for this prop. The +115 price returns $115 in profit on a $100 wager, plus the stake.

NHL Anytime Goalscorer Picks

NHL Prop Pick #3: Alexis Lafreniere Anytime Goalscorer

  • Pick: Alexis Lafreniere anytime goalscorer (+185) at theScore Bet

Alexis Lafreniere has recorded a point in four straight home games, averaging 2.2 points in that split. The run reflects his involvement in New York’s attack, while the anytime-goal market is pricing him at very favorable odds.

The Rangers host Anaheim at 7 p.m. ET. The Ducks have allowed 2.86 goals per game and carry an 80% penalty kill. New York’s pregame projection is a 1.5-goal win with a 6.2-goal total in the NHL odds, creating a supportive scoring backdrop for the home side. At +185, Lafreniere recent form and home production make him a compelling bet to light the lamp.
