Last year’s top two Premier League scorers are once again at the top of the charts with Tottenham’s Harry Kane the leading favorite to finish as top goalscorer.
Kane finished two goals behind Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah last season and the two are currently tied with 12 goals this campaign.

Will It Come Down To Kane And Salah Again?
Though each of their teams offer a bevy of scoring threats, Kane and Salah both account for nearly 30% of their team’s goals. However, at the halfway mark of the year, neither are on pace to reach the heights they did a season ago.
Kane and Salah are on pace for 24 goals, well below the 30 and 32 they scored last year, respectively.
As long as they can avoid injury, there’s no reason not to think the two will be battling for top spot at season’s end. Each will be relied upon heavily as Liverpool and Tottenham are involved in the title race at 1-2 in Premier League standings.

Each are also currently in-form with Kane scoring three times in his past two games and Salah twice in the same time frame. Salah also scored a hat trick earlier this month versus Bournemouth.
Aubameyang Leading EPL Goals Race
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made the move to England and Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund of the German Bundesliga last season.
The Gabonese striker has been well worth the investment as he leads Arsenal and the league in scoring with 13 goals. Of late he’s scored three goals in the Gunners’ past two matches.
Only playing in 13 EPL matches last season meant he wasn’t among the contenders for top goalscorer. However, he scored ten goals in that short time and had scored 13 more for Dortmund prior to the move.
At the halfway stage it's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who leads the scoring charts 🔥

Aubameyang is no stranger to scoring races, as he topped the Bundesliga with 31 goals in the 2016/17 season and finished second the year before with 25.
Hazard Joins EPL’s 100 Goal Club
With two goals on Boxing Day against Watford Eden Hazard has now scored 100 Premier League goals. It also brought him into fourth place in the EPL scoring race.
If you were concerned with Hazard leaving Chelsea midseason, he’s recently announced he’s putting off any transfer discussions until the end of the season, meaning the Chelsea star still has time to make up ground on the top three.

Who Wins The EPL Golden Boot?
Salah and Kane will keep getting their share of chances as they’ve taken the second and third most shots in the EPL with 65 and 63.
Kane’s annual goals tally has continued to rise during his career growing from 21, 25, 29, and 30 last season.
His price has shortened over the past few weeks, but I like Aubameyang with slightly longer odds of +275 and the current lead in the scoring race to win the Golden Boot.

The three favorites are only two-to-three goals ahead of the second tier players in the odds, meaning the real value could still come from looking a little deeper.
Hazard at +1600, or a player from the the EPL’s highest scoring team Man City, could be worth a look. Both Raheem Sterling and Sergio Agüero are well within striking distance.
Finally, a huge longshot could be Everton’s de Andrade Richarlison, who’s fifth in league scoring with nine goals. However, the Brazilian forward is nowhere near the favorites with massive odds of +10000.
