UTSA travels to Boca Raton to face Florida Atlantic at Flagler Credit Union Stadium on Thursday, November 5. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Roadrunners are 7-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play; the Owls enter at 5-3 and 2-2.
UTSA has won five straight. Its most recent game was a 42-19 victory over Tulane on October 24, followed by a bye week. Florida Atlantic, coming off a 48-41 loss to North Texas on October 29, will look to use its home field to challenge a Roadrunners team that has built momentum through a strong rushing performance and disruptive defense.
Below, we break down the UTSA vs FAU odds on Kalshi and our Thursday night CFB picks. You can also compare the latest college football odds before kickoff.
UTSA vs FAU Odds
Kalshi prices as of November 4 at 11:03 p.m. ET.
I prefer UTSA -7.5 at 47¢ to paying 71¢ for its moneyline. A winning contract pays $1, so the spread quote implies a 47% break-even chance before fees. The Roadrunners need to win by at least eight points for that position to pay.

UTSA vs FAU Prediction & Thursday Night CFB Picks
UTSA vs FAU prediction: The Roadrunners cover -7.5 in a game that clears 72.5 total points.
UTSA vs FAU Pick #1: UTSA -7.5
UTSA’s recent form supports backing the Roadrunners to cover rather than paying the heavy moneyline price. They have won five consecutive games, and the latest result showed an offense capable of producing on the ground: UTSA ran for 223 yards and six touchdowns against Tulane.
Will Henderson III led the way with 102 rushing yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. Quarterback Owen McCown contributed 173 passing yards, 20 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. His ability to add yards as a runner complements the team’s ground production and gives UTSA another way to sustain drives.
The Roadrunners also recorded six takeaways in the win, an encouraging sign of defensive disruption. Florida Atlantic just allowed 48 points to North Texas, and UTSA arrives off a bye with the rushing attack to win by more than a touchdown.
- Pick: UTSA -7.5
UTSA vs FAU Pick #2: Over 72.5
This is a high total, so the Over needs sustained scoring from both teams. UTSA’s 42 points against Tulane show its recent scoring ceiling, with the six rushing touchdowns illustrating how it can produce without depending only on passing.
Florida Atlantic’s last outing points the same direction. The Owls lost 48-41 to North Texas on October 29, a game that produced 89 combined points and cleared this number by 16.5.
If Florida Atlantic can contribute its share at home, a competitive game with continued scoring pressure could keep both offenses aggressive late. At 51¢, the Over is our preferred total position in this Thursday night CFB matchup.
- Pick: UTSA vs FAU Over 72.5
