National League Playoffs Odds Movement Timeline

  • May 12 – After going 15-25 in their first 40 games, the Mets have seen their playoff odds crater, going from -170 back in April to +425.
  • February 13 – At -5000, the Los Angeles Dodgers open as near locks to make the 2026 MLB Playoffs, ahead of three favorites in the east: the New York Mets (-310), Philadelphia (-290), and Atlanta (-220).

American League Playoffs Odds Movement Timeline

  • May 12 – Project to finish last in the AL East, the first place Rays have seen their postseason odds shorten from last month’s +250 to a current -320. They’re one of just four AL teams getting better than even money to make the playoffs; eleven teams (!) are currently plus money.
  • February 13 – The New York Yankees open at -380 as favorites to make the AL Playoffs in 2026, ahead of Toronto and Seattle at -280, and the Boston Red Sox at -195.
