Where Can You Bet With BetMGM?

The BetMGM online sportsbook is actively live in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington D.C., West Virginia, and Wyoming. The platform remains unavailable in any state without legalized online sports betting, and a user’s eligibility depends entirely on their physical location at the moment of the bet, rather than their permanent home address. The legal map constantly shifts as new states legalize or as legislative action progresses, making it imperative to re-check availability before signing up. Our team tested and confirmed the BetMGM sign-up flow and promo code on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, verifying that the new user promotions apply exactly as mathematically outlined. This offer fits Wednesday’s matchup seamlessly because the qualifying wager can be placed across any market—such as attacking the 243.5 game total or the -1.5 spread—and a losing first bet returns up to $1,500 in bonus bets (or unlocks the $150 bonus path in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia). Beyond the initial welcome phase, BetMGM provides an analytical edge for NBA bettors through highly competitive same-game parlay (SGP) pricing, robust live betting, early cash-out data, and direct integration with the MGM Rewards ecosystem. Eligible customers aiming to capitalize on these mechanics should complete registration and apply their appropriate promo code before the 7:30 PM ET tipoff.

The BetMGM promo code is SBD150 (MI, NJ, PA, WV) or SBD1500 (all other eligible states). Applying the correct localized code during the initial sign-up process is mandatory to activate the welcome promotion successfully.

It depends on your state. Eligible users located in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia qualify for the special bet $10, get $150 bonus promotion, whereas new bettors in all other participating states access the first-bet offer worth up to $1,500. The platform and its promotions are unavailable in jurisdictions without legalized online sports betting.

How much do I need to deposit to claim the offer?

$10. Once your account registration is complete and the respective promo code is entered, a minimum first-time deposit of ten dollars is required to activate the offer.

Do the bonus bets expire?

Yes. Any bonus bets credited to your account operate as non-withdrawable site credit rather than tangible cash, and they typically expire within seven days of issuance.
