BKFC KnuckleMania emanates from RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida. Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s 16th card will broadcast on pay per view via FITE TV.

UFC veteran Paige Vanzant makes her bare-knuckle boxing debut in the main attraction opposite former BKFC title contender Britain Hart.

Johnny Bedford and Dat Nguyen will duke it out for a pair of 135-pound belts in the roles of champion and challenger, respectively.

Paige Vanzant’s Bare Knuckle Debut

Paige Vanzant has fought world champions in the UFC (Rose Namajunas) and put together a 5-4 record in the octagon before electing to lose the gloves.

12 Gauge made a lot of waves when she signed a BKFC contract and readies herself to toe the line in a few days’ time.

Though some detractors have come out of the woodwork, I feel like Vanzant has shown a lot in prior performances to lead me to believe there will be a fluid adaptation to the BKFC ruleset.

PVZ has shown a pronounced level of grit, tenacity, and ability to sustain a high-pressure output. These are all great ingredients for success in bare-knuckle boxing.

Britain Hart’s Road to KnuckleMania

Britain Hart is a proven BKFC warrior who fell just shy of becoming a world champion in her debut bare-knuckle boxing bout. She went to a split decision against Bec Rawlings at BKFC 2.

Hart notched her first BKFC victory in her last outing when she bested Randine Eckholm via 4th round TKO at BKFC 14 in November.

Vanzant is certainly not taking a soft introductory matchup here as she tests skills with Hart. An adversary who has proven herself against some of the toughest warriors on the BKFC circuit.

These 125 pounders match up well with each other. Also, this could very well serve as a title eliminator of sorts.

I foresee this being a competitive, back and forth bout but I think Paige Vanzant will get her hand raised at BKFC KnuckleMania.

Johnny Bedford vs Dat Nguyen

Johnny Bedford and Dat Nguyen go at it in the co-main event with the BKFC and Police Gazette 135 pound straps on the line.

Nguyen is in the role of title contender here and possesses perhaps the best pure boxing background of anyone presently on BKFC’s roster.

Nguyen’s skills in gloved boxing and successes so far in BKFC are worth noting. But it’s hard to ignore the flawless run of the champ Brutal Johnny Bedford.

Someone’s 0 has got to go here with Nguyen looking to go 3 straight within BKFC at KnuckleMania. This prizefight could very well end in highlight-reel fashion.

There is a tremendous amount of parity here which is reflected in the close line for this championship bout. That being said, I think Bedford has really found his lane in BKFC and will progressively chip away at Nguyen as this prizefight goes on.

Johnny Bedford’s sophisticated clinch game from his MMA bouts and overall warrior spirit will carry him through to a victory here.
