On Monday, the regulated and legal online casino market launched in the province of Alberta.
A number of different operators debuted their Alberta online casinos this week, including a pair under the ownership of DraftKings.
Both Golden Nugget Casino Alberta and DraftKings Casino Alberta are available apps in the province now that the market is open.

AGLC Clears DraftKings, Golden Nugget in Alberta
Legalized online gambling in a regulated market is just a few days old in Alberta.
The Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) is the regulatory body in the province that provided license approval of these two DraftKings-owned iGaming properties.
Now that DraftKings Alberta and Golden Nugget Alberta are up and running, they will be under the oversight of the Alberta iGaming Corporation.
Both apps are able to offer the full range of online casino games to customers at least 18 years of age and located within the boundaries of Alberta.
Each will be subject to a 20% tax on their revenue as well.
