Friday CFB Player Props Top Pick #1: Darian Mensah Passing Yards

Pick: Darian Mensah Over 290.5 Passing Yards (-115 at Caesars Sportsbook)

Miami quarterback Darian Mensah, a Heisman Trophy odds dark horse, has a passing-yards market of 290.5, with the over priced at -115. Miami enters the game averaging 702.5 total yards and 61 points per game. The Hurricanes have also converted 64.3% of their third downs, which has supported sustained offensive production through two games.

Miami has 854 passing yards through two games, giving Mensah a productive offense to work with against Wake Forest. The main concern is a comfortable second-half lead reducing his attempts, so an efficient first half matters for this over. Grab the Caesars Sportsbook promo code to lock in this line.

Friday CFB Player Props Top Pick #2: Carlos Hernandez Receiving Yards

Pick: Carlos Hernandez Over 67.5 Receiving Yards (-114 at BetMGM)

Carlos Hernandez’s receiving prop is listed at 67.5 receiving yards, with the over at -114. Wake Forest is averaging 485 yards and 36 points per game, and its offense has converted 46.2% of third downs. The Demon Deacons have 581 passing yards through two games, giving this game a second passing offense to monitor.

Hernandez has 11 catches through two games, with 10 producing first downs. His receiving line has moved from 63.5 to 67.5, but that ability to turn catches into meaningful gains keeps me on the Over. He’ll be in tough against a National Championship odds contender, but with Miami expected to jump out to a big lead Hernandez should have plenty of opportunity for production in a catch up script. Use the BetMGM promo code to tail this pick.

Friday CFB Player Props Top Pick #3: Amare Thomas Receptions

Pick: Amare Thomas Over 5.5 Receptions (+111 at bet365)

Amare Thomas has a receptions line of 5.5, with the over priced at +111. Houston is averaging 562 yards and 55 points per game, while converting 71.4% of its third downs. The Cougars have 508 passing yards and 14 red-zone possessions through two games.

Texas Tech has recorded five sacks and two interceptions. Houston’s ability to extend drives gives its receivers more chances to stay involved. Thomas needs six catches, and at +111 I like the return in a game where the Cougars may need to throw to keep pace. Claim the bet365 bonus code to get in on the action.

Friday CFB Player Props Top Pick #4: Will Hammond Passing TDs

Pick: Will Hammond Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+102 at theScore bet)

Will Hammond’s passing-touchdown line is 1.5, with the over at +102. Texas Tech is averaging 411.5 yards and 34 points per game. The Red Raiders have scored on all eight trips into the red zone.

Hammond has completed 46 of 60 passes through two games, a 76.7% rate that ranks fourth among FBS quarterbacks with at least 60 attempts. I like the plus-money on Over 1.5 TD passes with Texas Tech likely needing sustained production against Houston.

Friday CFB Player Props Top Pick #5: Dante Moore Passing TDs

Pick: Dante Moore Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns (-192 at bet365)

Dante Moore is listed at 2.5 passing touchdowns, with the over priced at -192. Oregon averages 389 yards and 32.5 points per game, and its red-zone scoring efficiency is listed at 100% across four recorded opportunities. The challenge for this prop is playing time: Oregon is a massive favorite in the college football odds and could turn to its reserves if it builds a large lead.

The Ducks have 569 passing yards and 65 points through two games. Portland State has recorded three sacks and three interceptions, but are completely outclassed in this matchup. Moore needs three touchdown passes for this bet to cash, but I’m confident he can get the job done.
