  • Logan Paul vs KSI II goes Saturday, November 9th
  • Will we finally get a conclusive winner this time out?
  • How will things change with the fight now being a pro bout?

Logan Paul vs KSI II goes at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The headguards are off this time and both men will go at it in a professional boxing bout this November. The pair had initially signed a two-fight deal and now they’re looking to reach a closure point on that contract. However, a lot has changed since the first fight, even beyond the two men specifically.

The undercard is actually a well fleshed out, respectable night of top-notch boxing. The card will be broadcast on DAZN and is a strange microcosm of the entertainment era in combat sports. Check out the opening odds and some background history for this rematch below.

Logan Paul vs KSI II Odds

Fighter Odds
Logan Paul -120
KSI -110

*Odds taken 09/04/19

The odds went through definite changes after opening in the first fight. It was clear that based on KSI’s experience, admittedly minimal, he would emerge as the big favorite early on and did. Also, the odds were shaped in the lead up to the fight by Paul’s admittedly uninspired workout footage. Logan Paul looked entirely ill-equipped for a fight of any kind, never mind a fight with so much hoopla and fanfare around it.

Logan Paul vs KSI II

Paul’s performance in the fight was leaps and bounds ahead of what some detractors were theorizing heading into the first fight. For Logan Paul vs KSI II, the odds will fluctuate in a different fashion as we get closer to fight week. Can Paul close the competitive gap and put on a better performance than he did on the heels of training for three months?

I don’t see KSI being slated as a big favorite again considering the competitive first fight. Heading into August 25th at Manchester Arena, I think it was a safe bet that KSI was expected to emerge victorious. The fact it ended in a draw has some wondering if KSI can retain that Youtube championship once more.

Successes of the First Fight and Shifting Odds

The huge buy rate and the live gate that the fight did was a huge part of the story. The figures, which came from a relatively inexperienced promotional backer, were huge and some of the elite boxing promoters in the world saw dollar signs in a properly handled prospective rematch. Enter Matchroom Boxing and Eddie Hearn.

They’re using the pop-culture spectacle fight of Logan Paul vs KSI II to expose new fans to some of the finest in boxing. Billy Joe Saunders will defend his world championship on the undercard. This is a bid to get regular boxing media coverage out of an event that pundits are already sick of. Eddie Hearn is backing the promotional end of things here. This is a man who has aided in some enormous blockbuster cards like Anthony Joshua’s title fights.

For Logan Paul vs KSI II, I think that the odds will gravitate towards someone as a very slight favorite. With fights like this, it’s hard to say who will emerge as the favorite ahead of the fight. Normally there are pugilistic related considerations for who pulls forward as that last-minute betting favorite with oddsmakers.

I think the personality who talks the biggest game both to the media and in their videos will become the betting favorite.
