The wait is finally over – Tiger Woods is playing PGA Tour golf for the first time since the hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This will mark his first official tournament since finishing in last place (among those who made the cut at the Genesis Invitational) in February, though he did win “The Match: Champions for Charity” back in May alongside Peyton Manning.
Tiger enters the week with +2500 odds to capture his record sixth career Memorial Tournament title, but he’s up against a stacked field featuring 27 of the top 30 players in the world.
There are a slew of prop bets you can wager on for this week’s event, as well as two interesting daily odds boosts where you can make some serious coin, and we’ve got you covered. Read on for the best bets and value picks on Tiger Woods’ chances at the Memorial Tournament.

Muirfield Village is Tiger’s Personal Playground
Tiger Woods has teed it up for the Memorial Tournament 17 times in his illustrious career, and he’s made the cut each and every time. He’s won the event a record five times, plus has posted four other top-10’s. Suffice to say, it’s a pretty good assumption to think he’ll be around for the weekend.

In his last four go-arounds, he hasn’t been nearly as effective, particularly in 2013 and 2015 when he was battling injuries (65th and 71st), but in the last two years he’s had solid results with T-9 and T-23 showings.
It would constitute a major shock if he packed his bags after two rounds especially when you consider he won the ZOZO Championship in October after taking two months off and winning in his first start back, though this has been an even longer break for the 15-time major champion.
Pick: Tiger Woods makes cut (+100)

Tiger Woods to Hit First Three Fairways | +135 | +165 |

Tiger in Tough to Hit First Three Fairways
It is currently not yet known whether Tiger will tee off on the first hole Thursday or if he’ll start on the back nine. Should he begin the course on #1, he will face the first and third hardest holes on the golf course to begin his day, which doesn’t bode well in his quest to hit the first three fairways.

If he begins on #10, his very first tee shot will be on the second most difficult hole on the track.
Additionally, he hasn’t played in enough rounds to officially rank on the tour driving accuracy list, but if he did, he’d be sitting a woeful 141st on tour.
Expecting him to come out striping his first three tee shots might not be in the cards.
Pick: Tiger Woods does not hit first three fairways

Tiger Has Long History of Hole-Outs at Muirfield Village
Big Cat has had a number of spectacular hole-outs during his dominance of the Memorial Tournament throughout the years, so it’s an exciting bet with good value to bank on him to provide more fireworks.

Of note, any putt from the fringe would constitute ‘off the green’, so you could even win this bet on him draining one essentially from the putting surface.
This is also the type of bet you want to select ‘yes’ on, because fading Tiger moments isn’t fun at all. He almost always finds a way to have a flair for the dramatic, so expect him to do it again.
Pick: Tiger Woods Holes Shot From Off Green During Tournament (+200)
Woods Will Crush a Drive in First Round
Tiger will have plenty of opportunities to smash his driver in the first round, with there being four par-5’s on the scorecard. He’ll also be aided by warm weather in the 90’s this week which will help the ball travel further.

He’ll be playing in a group alongside known bombers Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka, which might give him extra motivation to unleash the big stick. Muirfield Village is also not a course that takes driver out of the hands of the best players too often, so it’s not a stretch to think he can scorch one.
Pick: Tiger Woods Hits Drive Over 315.5 Yards in First Round (-137)
More Value Betting Woods to Make Few Mistakes
In five of his last seven times around this track, Tiger hasn’t posted more than two bogeys on his scorecard. The same can be said for three of his four rounds for both the ZOZO Championship and Farmers Insurance Open this season.

This course has been his personal playground throughout the years, so he has tons of history to lean back on to hopefully avoid mistakes. Why not grab the extra value on him keeping it on the straight and narrow on the first day?
Pick: Tiger Woods With Under 2.5 Bogeys In First Round (+110)
