There’s two things you immediately notice when handicapping the series between the Cleveland Guardians (75-65, 35-30 home) and Los Angeles Angels (61-81, 30-41 away).
Firstly, there’s more streaks happening than in a badly cleaned window. Secondly, there’s also an awful lot of home cooking going on when these two ball clubs clash.

On the other hand, in April, the Angels swept a four-game series from the Guardians.
Since 2016, Cleveland has assembled winning streaks of five, eight and 12 games against LA. Over the same time period, the Angels are showing winning runs of four and three games when facing the Guardians.
Cleveland is 8-2 agains the runline in the last 10 home games facing the Angels, and oddsmakers are staying with that formula. The Guardians are set as -120 home favorites.
