Scherzer’s NL Cy Young odds are +1200

Syndergaard will be facing the Mets for the first time in his career. He made his major-league debut with New York in 2015 and was with the Mets through 2021.

His last time out, Syndergaard lost to the Chicago Cubs last Friday at home. He went six innings and allowed three runs, six hits and two walks while striking out nine.

Syndergaard has made two starts at home and is 0-1 with a 3.00 ERA. He had a no-decision in his lone start during the day when he surrendered only one run in six innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks on April 2 at Dodger Stadium.
