I am cashing tickets at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas this weekend. This UFC Fight Night delivers a pivotal lightweight clash for the main event, with the main card kicking off at roughly 8:20 PM ET on Paramount+.
Bettors have a slate of fascinating stylistic matchups to decipher between proven favorites and dangerous rising challengers.
I have broken down the tape and the betting numbers to find the best value on the board in my UFC Fight Night predictions.

The board leans toward the favorites, but the prices are not extreme outside of Yadier Del Valle at -800 and Ty Miller at -425. That pushes the value into the method and totals markets for the two heaviest chalk plays.
Gamrot vs. Salkilld is the closest thing to a coin flip on the main card, with the underdog Gamrot sitting at shallow plus money.
UFC Fight Night Main Card Predictions
Mateusz Gamrot vs. Quillan Salkilld Prediction
I am taking Gamrot at plus money even with most of the market leaning toward Salkilld. The Aussie is younger and much longer, and the profile is scary at 12-1 with a 75-inch reach. He also has real wrestling volume, showcased by his eight takedowns on 23 attempts with 7:35 of control against Yanal Ashmouz, plus nine takedowns on 22 attempts in his Dana White’s Contender Series fight.
That output cuts both ways. This is already Salkilld’s third fight since February, and I worry about progressive fatigue if he cannot get Gamrot out early. Gamrot just went 4-of-6 on takedowns with 6:50 of control in a submission win over Esteban Ribovics. Only Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan — two of the best grapplers in UFC lightweight history — have ever completed takedowns on him, and both had to work hard to keep him down.
Gamrot can be hurt, but only Oliveira has finished him. Salkilld’s size and early danger are real, but this is a much worse matchup for him than the price suggests if Gamrot gets through the first wave. Gamrot has survived early scares before and has recovered well enough to win many of those fights down the stretch.
- UFC Fight Night Pick #1: Mateusz Gamrot Moneyline (+120 at Bet365)
Diego Ferreira vs. Billy Quarantillo Best Bet
I am backing Ferreira because the setup is rough for Quarantillo. ‘Billy Q’ is making his UFC lightweight debut at 37 years old and after a long layoff. His last fight ended with Cub Swanson brutally knocking him out in the third round. He landed 97 significant strikes that fight, but he also absorbed 99 and went just 3-for-11 on takedowns.
Ferreira is older than Quarantillo, but he is the naturally bigger lightweight with a 74-inch reach — four inches longer than Quarantillo.
Historically, Ferreira has been beaten by power or by sustained wrestling. Alexander Hernandez and Dustin Poirier punished him on the feet, while Grant Dawson, Mateusz Gamrot, Gregor Gillespie and Beneil Dariush manhandled him on the mats.
I do not see the smaller Billy Q as the guy to bully him at 155, and he was never even a power threat at featherweight. It is also difficult to trust the timing after the layoff and lifestyle change with his recently opening a gym in Florida.
- UFC Fight Night Pick #2: Diego Ferreira Moneyline (-160 at Bet365)
Darren Elkins vs. Yadier Del Valle Pick
I am taking the shot on Del Valle by decision. Elkins is still a live wrestling problem on paper, but he is 12 years older and has not fought since April 2025. His last fight was a bad one, with Julian Erosa landing 54 significant strikes at 73.97 percent in a nasty first-round finish.
The concern is obvious because Jordan Leavitt controlled Del Valle for 7:57 and landed 4 of 8 takedowns. That is the path for Elkins if he still has the pace. I just do not know if he can physically sustain that against a younger, stronger grappler at this stage.
Del Valle has already shown he can bank minutes, landing 125 significant strikes with 5:46 of control over three rounds on DWCS. He has to avoid ‘The Damage’ trap and keep his cardio managed, but I like him to win enough grappling exchanges without needing the finish.
As a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, Del Valle has typically done his best work on the ground, yet the only man to ever submit Elkins was UFC record holder Charles Oliveira. Everyone else to stop Elkins has done so by exploiting his tragic striking defense. Del Valle will be in control from bell to bell, but we are backing the veteran to survive the distance in his final fight.
- UFC Fight Night Pick #3: Yadier Del Valle by Decision (+400 at Bet365)
Amanda Lemos vs. Alexia Thainara Prediction
I am on Thainara by submission, simply because Lemos is inconsistent when she is not the stronger grappler. The recent pattern is clear. Gillian Robertson controlled Lemos for 9:17, Tatiana Suarez for 9:34, Virna Jandiroba for 6:27, and Weili Zhang for 16:07. Thainara is just as physical and relentless as any of them.
Lemos can beat grapplers when she can match or out-muscle them, like she did against Mackenzie Dern and Iasmin Lucindo. That just will not apply here. Thainara has already attempted 26 takedowns across her four UFC and DWCS fights, and she has attempted at least one submission in every one of those appearances.
The danger for Lemos is that she is tricky enough to survive positions but not always safe enough to avoid the final layer. She is 0-for-2 at defending submissions in the UFC once allowing the attempt — Jandiroba and Jessica Andrade each found the submission once Lemos gave them the opening. Thainara is massive, relentless, and built to force the same kind of mistake.
We are backing the trend that the aggressive Thainara will break the dam and force Lemos to tap late in the second or third round.
- UFC Fight Night Pick #4: Alexia Thainara by Submission (+420 at Bet365)
Ty Miller vs. Billy Ray Goff Best Bet
I like Miller by decision. He owns a major frame edge, listed at 6-foot-2 with a 77-inch reach, while Goff is 5-foot-10 with a 72-inch reach. Miller, a former boxer, is already the cleaner striker, and the range will matter when Goff crashes forward in messy exchanges. Goff is effective in chaos but has already shown several holes in his defense throughout his career.
Miller’s volume has translated immediately in the UFC. He landed 59 significant strikes in a first-round finish of Adam Fugitt before racking up 84 over three rounds on DWCS. His defensive wrestling is also improving with each outing. Across Miller’s last two fights, opponents went just 1-for-4 on takedowns against him.
Goff will try to wrestle and make this ugly, but his own attempts have been inefficient lately, including 1-for-12 against Trey Waters. I respect his chin and recovery, so I am not forcing a knockout angle. Miller, who has won the majority of his fights by decision, can punch between the wild entries and win rounds without forcing the finish.
- UFC Fight Night Pick #5: Ty Miller by Decision (+190 at Bet365)
