The Miami Heat couldn’t beat the Brooklynn Nets once in the entire regular season, but now is when it matters and they know it. Game one of the series is this Tuesday at 7 PM ET at the American Airlines Arena.

Miami is a seven point favorites in the NBA betting spread and the game total for this game was set at 191.5.

“They figured out a way to beat us four times and that hasn’t happened,” said Heat veteran Dwayne Wade, the Heat guard who missed two of the four Brooklyn-Miami games this season. “So we’ve got to crack that code.”

For Brooklyn is not about the Heat, is about winning a championship.  When they put together this team filled with veterans, there was only one thing on their mind:  The Championship Ring.

“The goal from the beginning when we came in here was to win a championship and we understand that in order to do that, you have to go through the best,” Nets Paul Pierce said. “And Miami being that team over the last couple years, we figured this was going to be a test for us.”

Brooklyn is 4-13 SU in its last 17 games when playing Miami, but won twice this season in that building. Miami is 4-9 ATS in its last 13 games when playing at home against Brooklyn.

The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Brooklyn’s last 5 games when playing on the road against Miami.
