  • Four NBA games are scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 15
  • Player props are available, featuring some of the league’s biggest stars
  • See below to see where we think the betting value lies

It’s a light night in the NBA Thursday, but that doesn’t mean there’s a shortage of player props that are worth looking at.

Red-hot scoring machine Steph Curry will try to keep the good times rolling when the Dubs travel to Cleveland to battle the Cavaliers. Speaking of streaking scorers, Jayson Tatum will get a crack at that tough Lakers’ defense when the Celtics visit LA.

And the Suns continue their pursuit of a no. 1 seed in the West, as they take on the Sacramento Kings.

Let’s take a look at the player props available and some of our favorite wagers.

Odds as of April 12. This table will be updated as more props come available.

Curry Still Cooking

There are hot streaks, and then there’s the wicked scoring binges we witness from Steph Curry.

The Golden State star has been on fire in April, averaging 39.5 points a game in seven starts, and he’s still bothered by a bruised tailbone! Curry is coming off a 42-point, 8-assist, 6-rebound show in a blowout over the Thunder Wednesday night, which included an insane 11 three-balls in 16 attempts.

That’s quite a follow-up from his performance against the Nuggets, when he went for 53, with 10 money balls driving up that score.

Can the Cavaliers provide any resistance? Surprisingly, they rank 11th in points allowed this year — couple that with the fact GState is playing in a back-to-back, and it’s hard to bang the over on 33.5 (despite the fact Curry’s failed to crack that total once in his last seven games).

But the real value might be with the three point makes. Cleveland allows teams to shoot the three at a 38.3% clip, which ranks 27th in the NBA. Curry’s cruised past the 5.5 total in three straight. Look for that to go to four.

  • The Pick: Steph Curry OVER 5.5 three-point makes (+122)

CP3 in Cruise Control

Chris Paul has not broken double-digit scoring in two straight games, just the second time this season that that’s happened for the Suns’ star point man. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been effective.

During Phoenix’s three-game win streak, they’ve played some of the worst teams in the league in Houston and Washington, and last time out they blew out the visiting Miami Heat.

As he affects the game in so many ways, Paul has been leaning on his playmaking lately, piling up 29 assists in the last three games, and he’s gone for 10+ assists in four of seven April starts.

It’s not a bad option, when you’re flanked by Devin Booker, who’s putting up 29.1 points over his last 10 games, and budding big man Deandre Ayton is enjoying his best scoring month, putting up better than 17points per game in April.

In two starts against the Kings this year, Paul has dished 12 dimes both contests. I’m banking on him doing it a third time.

  • The Pick: Paul OVER 9.5 assists (-118)

Can Tatum Deliver?

It’s been quite a run for the young Celtics’ star, who is averaging better than 29 points per game in the month of April. That average was lifted with an impressive 53-point outing in a win over Minnesota last week.

Tatum has gone over this projected total three straight times, and it’s helped by all the trips he’s made to the charity stripe as of late. In the last three games, he’s had at least eight free throw attempts, including a season-high 16 attempts against the Timberwolves.

The Lakers have an elite defense with LeBron and AD, but they’ve still been very good in their absence. Part of their ability to keep things close is limiting teams to 20.1 free throw attempts a game, which is seventh in the NBA.

That doesn’t mean that they’re not susceptible to giving up big scoring nights. During their seven-game road trip, LA surrendered Tatum’s total to three different players: Julius Randle, Jimmy Butler and Pascal Siakam.

During Boston’s 4-game win streak, Tatum has taken less than 21 field goal attempts just once. If he gets that volume, expect more of the same.

  • The Pick: Tatum OVER 26.5 points (-106)
