The most notable injury is on the Pacers, where starting point guard Tyrese Haliburton is nursing a hamstring injury and is doubtful for Tuesday. He’s fifth in the NBA dealing 8.8 assists per game, and second on the team in scoring at 18.1 points. Aaron Nesmith (ankle) has also been ruled out in the rematch with the Cavs.

For Cleveland, guard Ty Jerome (illness) is listed as doubtful, while forward Emoni Bates (knee) has already been ruled out.

Cavaliers vs Pacers Predictions

Indiana is on a legit hot streak, pouring in an average of 118.7 points over the course of its six-game fun run. That includes a dominating 68-40 second half romp over Cleveland, dealt just its second home loss of the year, a 108-93 defeat that was the Cavaliers’ lowest scoring output of the season. Defensively, they are holding teams to just 104 points per game. and limited the Cavs to 39.8% from the field, including a brutal 11-for-41 from downtown, a 26.8% clip.

Cleveland is a team that ranks second in the league in scoring at 122.1 points per game, and lead the NBA in both field goal (50.2%) and 3-point shooting (40.4%). It’s easy to chalk up this performance as an outlier.

The Cavaliers are an impressive 13-3 on the road this season and have won five straight away from home, going a perfect 5-0-0 against the spread. The bounce back was coming anyways — the Cavs have lost back-to-back games just once this year — but the injuries to Haliburton and Nesmith definitely make the choice easier.

Cavaliers vs Pacers Picks:

  • Cavaliers -7.5 (-105)
  • Garland Over 6.5 assists (-128)
