  • A monster 10-game NBA slate is what bettors have to look forward to Monday, December 6, 2021
  • A great way to get in on the action are NBA player props which are everywhere on a slate like tonight’s
  • See below to find out some of the best player props to bet on tonight

Monday night will be an epic night for gamblers as there are 10 games on the NBA slate. On nights like tonight there just has to be something for us to bet in the NBA player prop market.

If there is something to complain about it’s the fact that only one of the games tonight is nationally televised. On top of that it’s the Oklahoma City Thunder and Detroit Pistons at 7:00pm ET on NBA TV. Still, it’s NBA basketball and to be honest, we really don’t get a chance to see those two teams play very often. We should lean into it a little. At the end of the day, all we have to do is bet on it and it automatically becomes a good game.

There are more unforeseen roster changes in the NBA than any other sport. Because of that, many books are reluctant to post player prop lines too early in the day. For that reason, not all of the teams in action tonight are included in the table below. Scroll down to see the lines that are available and a couple of best bets.

Beef Stew on the Boards

The Oklahoma City Thunder and Detroit Pistons are on national television tonight which blows my mind. One team is coming off the worst loss in NBA history and the other has the worst record in the NBA. This game is obviously one we have to bet. No one wants to be the person who didn’t bet this game.

Like everyone else, the first guy I tried to find was Isaiah Stewart.

We all know who Stewart is at this point since it took 30-40 people to keep him from beating up LeBron James. But one thing people don’t know about Stewart is he can play basketball too. One area he excels is rebounding.

Rebounds are a counting stat, so sometimes players on bad teams don’t accumulate many of them due to the fact that they are pulled during blowouts. Tonight we should get a close game since both teams stink which means Stewart should play 30+ minutes. In his last three games playing 30+ minutes, Stewart has grabbed at least 11 boards. I think this is a great spot to get a plus money move on a good number.

  • The Pick: Isaiah Stewart Over 9.5 rebounds (+106)

Zubac Isn’t That Bad

It’s forgotten big-man night for us and there is another one on the slate with a low number. Ivica Zubac doesn’t get many minutes compared to other centers in the league but he makes the most of his time on the floor. I describe him as a borderline skilled big who can shoot or throw it down whenever he needs to.

Take this play for example:

Tonight, Zubac will go for his fourth straight game scoring in double digits. He’s gone for 10+ in six of his last eight games so it’s not just a three-game run he’s on here. On top of that, he gets the Portland Trail Blazers tonight who give up the fourth most points in the NBA to opposing centers.

I think Zubac goes off tonight (for Zubac).

  • The Pick: Ivica Zubac 9.5 points (-106)
