The New York Knicks did the nearly-impossible earlier this week, coming back from 20 points down on the road to beat the defending-NBA-champion Boston Celtics … twice. The Knicks how hold a commanding 2-0 lead as the series shifts to New York for Games 3 and 4 on Saturday and Monday.
The Knicks/Celtics series odds, which heavily favored Boston at the outset, now see the New York as the slight chalk to move onto the Eastern Conference final.
Knicks vs Celtics Series Odds
The series price at BetMGM now favors the Knicks at -115, giving New York a 53.49% implied win probability. The Celtics are still better than even-money at -105, a 51.22% implied win probability.

The game spread shows New York as a +120 underdog to win by multiple games with the Celtics at -150 to at least force a Game 7. Yet the total games favors under 6.5 at -170.
The Celtics, who were the +200 second-favorites in the NBA championship odds before their Game 2 loss, have now faded to +400. New York improved from +3000 to +1100.
Celtics vs Knicks Remaining Series Schedule
The Knicks will have a chance to close out the series before it ever returns to Beantown. Games 3 and 4 will both bet at MSG this Saturday and Monday, though the Knicks were a middling 27-14 at home in the regular season and then dropped two of three home games to the Pistons in the first round of the playoffs.
The Celtics were an NBA-best 33-8 away from home in the regular season and went 1-1 in Orlando against the Magic in round one.

The Celtics have opened as 5.5-point road favorites to win Game 3 in Saturday’s NBA odds. On the moneyline, Boston is a -225 favorite to win straight-up and avoid falling in a basically-insurmountable 3-0 hole.
NBA teams are currently 0-157 after falling behind 3-0 in a best-of-seven series.
The game total is sitting at 205.0. The teams combined for just 181 points in Game 2, a 91-90 New York win. They combined for 200 in regulation in Game 1, but the number was pushed half-a-point over the 212.5 total in overtime (108-105 Knicks).
