Just because it’s a light night in the NBA, doesn’t mean there aren’t some great games to check out over a 5-game slate.

Two teams in the middle of the East playoff pack clash at Jurassic Park, as the Raptors host the Cavaliers.

It will be the fourth and final meeting between the two, and the final head-to-head between super first-year studs Evan Mobley and Scottie Barnes, with Mobley still the leader in the 2022 NBA Rookie of the Year odds.

With the Minnesota Timberwolves breathing down their necks in the crowded Western Conference playoff picture, the Nuggets try to hang on to sixth as they host the NBA-leading Phoenix Suns.

At the bottom of the West play-in, New Orleans are just a half-game back of the Lakers for ninth, as they host a Bulls squad staggering down the home stretch.

Let’s take a look at the player props available for this one, and tell you what wagers you should be targeting.

Evan Mobley Total Points

Following a five-game stretch where he went for 17 or more points, Evan Mobley’s offense has somewhat slowed, going under Thursday’s total in three of his last four games.

It hasn’t been for a lack of scoring in Cavs games, though. Cleveland has averaged 116.5 points across their last four contests, not scoring less than 113 in any contest.

Perhaps seeing Scottie Barnes lined up across him will do the trick. Barnes has been making his case for ROY honors, including a 31-point, 17-rebound 6-assist gem in a recent loss to the Lakers.

Mobley has had some of his best games against the Raptors this season, posting 20 points, 17 boards, four dimes and three blocks on March 6, and 18 points and five boards in a game in November. Cleveland won both games.

Look for the Cavs’ big man to find his form in Toronto, and cash in on those plus odds.

  • Pick: Mobley OVER 16.5 points (+100)

Jonas Valanciunas 3-Point Makes

Here’s one where it appears oddsmakers may have missed the boat on this over/under, leaving you in prime position to cash in.

Pelicans’ big man Jonas Valanciunas has hit at least one three-pointer in five straight games, yet his total for Thursday is 0.5.

This isn’t a fluke either — Valanciunas’ season high for consecutive games with a three-point hit is seven. And he has drilled seven in a game this season.

And it’s not like the Bulls focus on defending the three-point line: they are allowing teams to shoot 36.4% from downtown on the season. That ranks a lowly 25th in the 30-team league.

While we’re on the subject, scoot over to the Wizards-Bucks board, where they’ve given the same total for Giannis Antetokoumpo. He’s hit at least one triple in five of nine games in March and hit one against the Bulls (!) last time out.

The law of averages should help too: Giannis is 0-for-7 from deep in two games against the Wiz this season. The last time he went 0-for-the-season against Washington was the 2019-20 season, when he didn’t attempt a three in two games.

Let’s cash in!

  • Pick: Valanciunas OVER 0.5 3-point makes (-156)
