Cleveland Cavaliers vs Orlando Magic Series Odds

Back in the postseason after a three-year absence, the Magic have opened as +165 underdogs to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 4-vs-5 matchup in the East. The Cavs are back in the playoffs for the second straight season, but will be hoping for a much different result after falling 4-1 to the fifth-seeded Knicks in the first round last year.

Orlando and Cleveland split their four games this season, each going 1-1 on their home courts.

Both teams are defense-first squads. The Magic finished the season third in the NBA in Defensive Rating (111.0) while the Cavs were seventh (112.0). Both were in the bottom half of the league in O-Rating, though: Orlando finished 22nd with a 112.8 mark, and Cleveland was 16th at 114.7.

LA Clippers vs Dallas Mavericks Series Odds

At Draftkings, the Clippers have opened as slight -135 favorites to win their best-of-seven series with the Mavericks. But the odds at FanDuel are roughly flipped: Dallas is a -120 favorite despite LAC having home-court advantage.

The Clippers took two of three from the Mavericks in the regular season, but the teams haven’t met since the calendar flipped to 2024. LA sits seventh in the NBA in Net Rating +3.5, while Dallas is 11th at +2.7.

Dallas finished the regular season as one of the hottest teams in the league. Before Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving sat out the final two games, the Mavs had won 12 of 13 to escape the Western Conference Play-In Tournament.  Their only loss in that span was a narrow 104-100 setback at Golden State, and it included five victories over postseason-bound teams (Denver, Golden State, Miami, and Sacramento twice).

The Clippers had a more up-and-down finish to the season, going 7-5 in their last 12 before their regular-season finale against Houston.
