Nuggets Win Game 3

The Nuggets notched a 119-108 victory over the Lakers in Game 3 on Saturday night in Los Angeles to leave them one game away from reaching The Finals for the first time in franchise history.

The Nuggets shot 50% (44 of 88) from the field, including making 17 of 41 (41.5%) of their three-point attempts. Denver also played a cleanup game as it committed just five turnovers.

Anthony Davis’ 28 points and 17 rebounds led the Lakers. LeBron James had 23 points and 12 assists, Austin Reaves also had 23 points and Rui Hachimura added 13 points.

The Nuggets led by just two points, 94-92, at the end of the third quarter. They outscored the Lakers 35-26 in the final period to pull away.

All Nuggets So Far

The Nuggets won the first two games of the Nuggets vs Lakers series on their home floor at Ball Arena in Denver, 132-126 in Game 1 and 108-103 in Game 2.

Jokic had 34 points, 21 rebounds and 14 assists in the series opener while Murray added 31 points. The Lakers couldn’t capitalize on Davis’ 40-point effort.

Nuggets vs Lakers – Where Will the Line Go?

The Lakers are always one of the public’s betting favorites and that explains why they have opened as 3.5-point picks in Game 4. However, Los Angeles appears to be running out of gas and the Nuggets have risen to the occasion in every game of the series. Look for the line to shift toward Denver.
