My best NBA props wager for this contest is over 8.5 assists for LeBron James. The King made me look foolish in Game 1, turning back the clock and treating fans to a vintage performance. With both Doncic and Reaves out tonight, the Lakers have no choice but to rely on James to get his teammates involved.

Much like Game 1, the keys to the Lakers’ offense rest entirely in the hands of James. Operating as the undisputed primary ball-handler, he was a masterful facilitator in Game 1, becoming the oldest player in NBA history to record 10+ assists in a playoff contest. James dissected the Houston defense to rack up 13 assists across 38 minutes.

The Rockets simply had no answers for Los Angeles’ unselfish ball movement. Houston allowed 29 opponent assists in the series opener. With the Lakers spot-up shooters perfectly spacing the floor, James will continue to operate with massive passing windows.

In just 24 minutes of court time in the series opener, Eason effortlessly pulled down 10 rebounds. Eason averages 6.3 rebounds per contest this season, clearing 4.5 boards in nine of his past 13 games.
