College Football Week 8 Parlay Picks

In our Week 8 college football parlay for Saturday, we’re taking two home favorites with great value to win outright, plus a Pac-12 road favorite with a huge matchup edge. Parlaying these three college football teams together gives us +152 odds at DraftKings.

Kansas vs Baylor

Kansas has been one of the best stories of the 2022 college football season, but the Jayhawks have dropped two straight games after opening the season with a five-game winning streak. Star quarterback Jalon Daniels is injured and questionable for Week 8.

Baylor has also dropped two straight games, but the Bears hold major edges in this matchup. Dave Arranda’s team is averaging almost 500 yards of offense per game and will be able to move the ball against a Kansas defense that has given up 90 points in the past two weeks.

Baylor vs Kansas is a Big 12 matchup that has been dominated by one side. The Bears have won 12 straight games against the Jayhawks, and have won by double-digits in the last five meetings played in Waco.

Pick: Baylor ML (-380)

Penn State vs Minnesota

Penn State is in a classic rebound spot vs Minnesota in Week 8 following an ugly loss to Michigan last weekend. Given that they face powerhouse Ohio State next weekend, this is a game they absolutely need to win.

Aside from the bounce-back spot, another reason to target Penn State in your college football parlays is the Minnesota QB situation. Veteran pivot Tanner Morgan was carted off the field last weekend with a head injury and is unlikely to suit up Saturday.

Minnesota has only managed 24 points plus six interceptions in consecutive losses to Purdue and Illinois. Gophers’ star RB Mohamed Ibrahim will only be able to do so much against this PSU rush defense that has been excellent aside from the Michigan game.

Sean Clifford’s stats at home vs on the road are a night-and-day difference. We like the veteran quarterback to lead his team to a big bounce-back win in front of the Penn State White Out.

Pick: Penn State ML (-200)

Washington vs California

The last leg of our Week 8 college football parlay comes from the Pac-12 After Dark matchup between Washington and California. The Huskies are a great addition to CFB parlays this Saturday despite the late kickoff time.

Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. passed for a whopping 516 yards in a win over Arizona last weekend, and he’s primed to build off that performance vs a Cal secondary that is allowing the second-most yardage in the Pac-12.

The Bears simply don’t have the weapons to keep pace with one of the most explosive offenses in college football. California fell to basement-dweller Colorado last weekend, and those defensive issues will resurface in Week 8 vs Washington.

Pick: Washington ML (-300)

College Football Week 8 Teaser Odds

Matchup Pick (Odds)
Purdue vs Wisconsin Purdue +2.5 (Teaser +8.5)
Pittsburgh vs Louisville Pittsburgh +2.5 (Teaser +8.5)
TOTAL ODDS +105

Odds as of October 21st at DraftKings Sportsbook.

College Football Week 8 Teaser Picks

In our college football teaser for Week 8, we’re teasing two small underdogs with strong upset potential. By teasing each team by six points, we get them at over a touchdown at combined plus-money value.

Purdue vs Wisconsin

The odds are stacked against Purdue in their Week 8 matchup with Wisconsin. The Boilermakers haven’t beaten the Badgers since 2003. Fortunately, all signs are pointing to that trend coming to an end in 2022.

Wisconsin relies heavily on its run game, and that will be a problem against a stout Purdue rush defense that is allowing just over 100 yards per game on the ground. This Purdue defense has shutdown Minnesota and Nebraska’s ground games in consecutive weeks.

The Boilermakers boast a lethal QB-WR tandem in Aidan O’Connell and Charlie Jones, who should find success against an average Wisconsin secondary. A team that’s currently on a four-game winning streak, Purdue makes for a great addition to Week 8 CFB teasers.

Pick: Purdue +8.5 Alternate Spread (-250)

Pittsburgh vs Lousiville

The other team we recommend teasing in your college football parlays this weekend is Pittsburgh in their matchup with Lousiville. The Panthers enter off a bye following a confidence-building 45-29 victory over VA Tech in Week 6.

YouTube video

The Cardinals are getting back their star quarterback Malik Cunningham following a two-week absence due to a concussion. The Panthers held him to only 110 total yards the only time they’ve faced him, and have had an extra week to plan their gameplan this year.

This matchup features two of the best pass rushes in the country, which is why the ground game could be the difference. The Panthers have the x-factor in running back Israel Abanikanda, who ranks sixth nationally in rushing yards (830 yds).

Pick: Pittsburgh +8.5 Alternate Spread (-220)

  • College Football Week 8 Teaser: Purdue +8.5 & Pittsburgh +8.5 (+105)
