  • NFC East combatants, the Giants and Eagles collide in the NFC Divisional Round on Saturday, January 21st
  • We’ve elected to focus on the Giants’ side of the ball when making our same-game parlay picks
  • Check out our Giants vs Eagles Same-Game Parlay picks and odds for this NFC Divisional matchup

Questions surrounding Jalen Hurts shoulder will need to be answered on Saturday, January 21st when the Eagles host the Giants in the NFC Divisional playoff round. Sportsbooks have the Eagles as 8-point favorites in the NFL odds for this tilt between the NFC East rivals.

Daniel Jones put on quite the show, silencing more of his critics with an incredible performance against the Vikings last week. The Giants quarterback tossed for two touchdowns and over 300 yards, while accumulating 78 yards on the ground in a 31-24 upset.

Kickoff at Lincoln Financial Field is scheduled for 8:15 pm ET in a game that can be seen on FOX. Our same-game parlay has a sweet, but modest payout for picks we feel very confident in. Let’s break it all down.

It’s not always sunny in Philadelphia, or warm for that matter. Temperatures are expected to be just above freezing during this tilt, but there will be very little wind, so only the cold may play a factor.

Our Giants vs Eagles same-game parlay has three legs that pays out at odds of +195 if they all come through.

New York Giants +8.5

The G-Men dropped both contests to Philly this year, but according to the NFL public betting trends, over 60% of the money as well as the number of wagers are on the Giants to cover in this one.

Throughout the year, the New York Football Giants have played the underdog status to their advantage. They are an incredible 14-4 against the spread this year, covering in each of their last five games. The last time they failed to cover was against these Eagles on December 11th.

At 77.8%, the Giants own the best cover percentage of any team in the league. On the other hand, Philly covered just 47.1% of the time, right in the middle of the pack of teams in the league.

With Jones coming off one of the best outings of his career and Hurts effectiveness somewhat limited by his shoulder issue, we like the Giants to keep it close. The extra point and a half on top of a converted touchdown definitely made our decision to go with the G-Men a little bit easier.

Daniel Jones Alternate Passing Yards Under 244.5

Coming off one of the best games of his pro career, we feel like Danny Dimes will come back down to Earth somewhat and have targeted him to throw under 244.5 yards.

Following a spectacular performance on Wild Card weekend, there may be a lot of wagers for him to go over in the Giants vs Eagles player props, but we’re not betting on tilt here, we’re picking with our heads.

The fact is, Jones threw for over 244 yards just three times this year. Two of those instances were against the team he disposed of last week, the Minnesota Vikings and the other was against the Lions who were 30th in the league against the pass this year.

Philadelphia was first in passing yards allowed this season, giving up just 179.8 yards per game. Although there are some questions about who will be available on the defensive line in the Giants vs Eagles injury report, the home side is too stacked to get lit up by Jones in this one.

Saquon Barkley Over 49.5 Rushing Yards

Although he faded down the stretch in the NFL comeback player of the year odds, there is no doubt Saquon Barkley is back and one to watch in the Giants vs Eagles odds on Saturday night.

In his lone matchup against the Eagles in Week 15, Barkley was held to 28 yards on nine carries but was also dealing with a neck injury. While Philly boasts the best passing defense, their rushing defense was middle of the pack, allowing 121.6 yards per game on the ground.

Barkley has run for 50 or more yards in four straight. Although he only carried the ball nine times last week, he still broke the half-century mark and we expect him to get a lot more touches in the cold weather at the Linc on Saturday after playing indoors last week.

Time of possession will play a huge factor in the G-Men having a chance for an upset here, so our prediction is for Brian Daboll to give the ball to his powerful tailback early and often.
