  • Week 8 provides elite value in the touchdown scorer market
  • I built a three-leg NFL parlay around two running backs and one wide receiver
  • Read below for each leg, who needs to score, and who can’t cross the goal-line

Predicting who crosses the plane on Sundays remains one of the most thrilling ways to build a betting card. This week’s slate features obvious shootout environments (see Ravens vs Bills, Cardinals vs Cowboys). Both boast massive 54.5-point totals in the Week 8 NFL odds. Meanwhile, gritty defensive battles like the Cleveland Browns vs Pittsburgh Steelers (39.5 points) threaten to make scoring opportunities incredibly scarce.

I have sifted through all the Week 8 NFL TD scorer odds and crafted a three-leg parlay, which includes two anytime TD picks plus one fade.

NFL Touchdown Parlay for Week 8

My best TD parlay this week includes Dallas RB Javonte Williams (-194) and Bills WR Keon Coleman (+335) to score plus a fade of Detroit RB Jahmyr Gibbs (+203 not to score a TD).

Putting these three picks into a parlay at prediction site Novig yields a massive +1929 potential payout.

Here’s why I like each of these three parlay legs.

TD Parlay Pick #1: Javonte Williams 1+ TD (Cowboys)

Pick: Anytime Touchdown (-194 at Novig)
Matchup: Cowboys vs Cardinals

At -194, Williams carries an implied probability of 66.0% to score, but his true probability is substantially higher in this dream matchup. Williams has been the premier goal-line hammer in football this season, scoring in six of seven games and racking up nine total touchdowns (eight rushing, one receiving) on 110 carries.

Coming off a dominant 155-yard, one-touchdown performance against Philadelphia on Monday night, Williams leads the NFL with 17 carries inside the 5-yard line in a Dallas offense converting 74.1% of its red-zone trips into six points. Facing an Arizona defense surrendering 29.7 points per game and allowing 3.71 total touchdowns per contest, Williams is arguably the safest bet on the entire board to smash into the end zone.

TD Parlay Pick #2: Keon Coleman 1+TD (Bills)

Pick: Anytime Touchdown (+335 at Novig)
Matchup: Bills vs Ravens

Coleman has quietly established himself as Josh Allen’s go-to vertical boundary target in scoring territory, cashing an anytime touchdown in three consecutive games (Weeks 4, 5, and 6). At +335 odds, the market implies just a 23.0% probability, which drastically underestimates his red-zone involvement in a contest featuring a 54.5-point total.

Buffalo leads the NFL with 32.8 points per game and converts 69.2% of red-zone visits into touchdowns, while Baltimore’s secondary was just torched for four passing touchdowns by Cincinnati a week ago. With Allen routinely looking his way on back-shoulder fades near the pylon, Coleman’s true probability far outpaces his longshot pricing, making him the slate’s premier high-upside play.

TD Parlay Pick #3: Jahmyr Gibbs NO TD (Lions)

Pick: Anytime Touchdown Fade (+203 at Novig)
Matchup: Lions vs Vikings

Gibbs is a phenomenal talent with nine total touchdowns in six games, but laying -223 (an implied 69.0% probability) against the NFL’s premier defense is not advised. Minnesota ranks first in the NFL by allowing just 12.3 points and 1.17 total touchdowns per game, while pacing the league with a microscopic 23.1% red-zone touchdown rate allowed.

Gibbs was held out of the end zone in Week 7 against Green Bay, and Brian Flores’ defense has surrendered only one rushing touchdown to an opposing running back all season. Paying massive chalk against a historically stingy front that eliminates explosive chunk plays in the red area is a recipe for long-term negative expected value. Fading Gibbs to score is the sharp contrarian angle.

Heading into Week 8, only ten players in the NFL have a touchdown streak of at least three games.

Niners RB Christian McCaffrey leads the pack with a six-game streak, while Williams and Buffalo RB James Cook III are right behind him at five.

Rounding out the top-five are Miami RB Ollie Gordon II and – in an unlikely turn of events – Cincinnati TE Mike Gesicki, who have both scored in four straight games.
