Bucs vs Bills SGP Picks: Dalton Kincaid Receptions

With Dawson Knox out of the lineup needing wrist surgery, rookie TE Dalton Kincaid gets the spotlight all on him at the tight end position.

Last week Knox had just one catch before Kincaid took over and caught 8/8 passes for 75 yards.

But even with Knox in the lineup, Kincaid had made four or more catches 3/5 games prior.

The two had been splitting the catches to start the season but let’s look at the combined catches between the two in previous games. Those numbers look like this: 7 catches in Week 1, then 8, 3, 5, 5, 3 and then 9 last week. So that’s at least five catches at the tight end position in 5/7 weeks.

With Kincaid seeing all the action in Week 8, we’ll include him in our TNF SGP picks to go over 3.5 catches at -166 in the Bucs vs Bills odds.

Bucs vs Bills SGP Picks: Stefon Diggs Receiving Yards

The Bucs are much stornger versus the run, 10th, than the pass, 27th. So If Buffalo is looking for an area of the field to attack it will surely be through the air.

And who other to look to than Stefon Diggs who has seen the second-most pass targets of any wide receiver this season with 78.

Diggs has seen double-digit targets each of the past three weeks and in 5/7 overall. Last week was the first time Diggs fell under 60 yards receiving finishing with 58 yards. But in weeks prior he finished with 100, 121, 120, 111, 66 and 102. In reality taking him in our Buccaneers vs Bills same game parlay picks to finish with 50+ receiving yards is probably too low, but does look safe.

Bucs vs Bills SGP Picks: Mike Evans Receiving Yards

The Bucs’ top receiver is Mike Evans who leads the team with 468 receiving yards. He’s tied in targets (49) with Chris Godwin, while Godwin leads in receptions (33-30), but Evens leads in the TD category 4-0. Godwin is listed as questionable in the Buccaneers vs Bills injury report, so let’s focus our attention on Evans.

While attacking the Bills on the ground may make more sense, as Buffalo ranks 23rd versus the run and 10th versus the pass, the Bucs don’t run the ball much, only rushing the 12th fewest times per game, for the fourth-fewest yards per game, 77.8.

Last week Mac Jones, who’s been awful this season found all sorts of success throwing on Buffalo. Jones went 25/30 for 272 yards and two touchdowns. The Pats don’t have any star receivers, but three receivers each had four or more catches and four had over 50 yards receiving.

Evans and co. should also be able to put up some stats and make good options when you’re looking for Tampa Bay vs Buffalo props to include in an SGP.

Outside of a game against Chicago, Evans hasn’t really exploded in any other game this season. But he has made four or more catches in 5/6 games, finished with 40+ yards in 6/6 games and 60+ yards in 4/6 games.

  • Buccaneers vs Bills same game parlay Picks: Mike Evans 40+ receiving yards
  • 2023 SGP Record: 3-6; -1.63 units
