Since that defeat to Pittsburgh in Jake Browning’s first start, it’s been three straight wins for Browning and the Bengals. First it was 34-31 over Jacksonville, then 34-14 over Indianapolis, and then last week’s 27-24 overtime win over Minnesota.
The Vikings entered the fourth quarter with a 17-3 lead before Cincy mounted a comeback led by two passing touchdowns from Browning to Tee Higgins and a rushing score by Joe Mixon. The Bengals tied the game in the final minute before Evan McPherson kicked the winning 29-yard field goal in overtime.
Browning threw for 324 yards, meaning he’s thrown for 954 yards and five touchdowns in these last three wins.

While Cincinnati is just 6-6-2 ATS this season, they’re 2-0-1 ATS in their past three. Totals-wise, Cincy’s games have been cashing Over tickets regularily going 3-0 and 5-1 to the Over in recent games. That brings them to 8-6 to the Over this season, making them one of just ten teams to have played to more Overs than Unders.
The Bengals are also one of the better ATS teams when playing on the road, owning the third-best mark in the league in that role at 4-2.

Pittsburgh has gone the complete opposite direction since beating Cincinnati in Week 12, now losers of three straight. They fell 24-10 at home to Arizona, 21-18 at home to New England and 30-13 away to Indianapolis.
Despite an early 13-0 lead in the second quarter, that was the end of Pittsburgh’s scoring. Indy scored two touchdowns in the second quarter to take a 14-13 lead into halftime and scored one more touchdown and three field goals in the second half to coast to the win.
The Colts were able to both contain Pittsburgh’s run game (74 yards), while also dominating Pittsburgh’s run defense for 170 yards.
Trey Sermon led the Colts running backs with 88 yards and Gardner Minshew threw for three touchdown passes to three different receivers.
An ankle injury will keep Kenny Pickett on the sidelines in Week 16.

Mason Rudolph saw some action for the Steelers last week with Mitch Trubisky getting benched at the end of the game. Rudolph went 2-3 for 3 yards passing. He’s been designated as the starter this week by head coach Mike Tomlin. Rudolph has played in 18 games in his career, throwing for 2,369 yards, 16 TDs and 11 INTs. Having not featured at all last season, he’s only played in three games over the past three years after last week’s appearance.
Pittsburgh too is a .500 team when it comes to ATS betting being 7-7-0. But after three straight losses SU, they are also 0-3 ATS in their past three 1-4 in their past five.
The Steelers have been an Under machine all season at 10-4 to the Under (tied for the most Unders), but have gone Over their game totals in their past two.

Bengals vs Steelers Prediction
The Steelers aren’t the only team dealing with injuries with Pickett and also FS Minkah Fitzpatrick ruled out. Bengals’ WR Ja’Marr Chase is out wth a shoulder injury. Meanwhile, on the defensive side, Cincy’s most consistent run stopper DT DJ Reader went down with a torn quad and is on the IR.
That won’t help a Bengals’ run defense that ranks 28th and just allowed backup Vikings RB Ty Chandler to run all over them for 132 yards and a touchdown last week. With an inexperienced quarterback under centre, Tomlin would be wise to draw up plenty of run plays for each of Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren. They could be worth plays in the Bengals vs Steelers props.
This is generally a spot where Tomlin excels in being the betting underdog. He’s 55-31-3 (63.5%) in his career as a dog and an even better 25-5-1 ATS (81%) as a home division dog.
All of that said, the line is still moving in the Bengals’ favor and is up to Bengals -3 at many books including ESPN BET.
