McCaffrey has rushed for an NFL-leading 268 yards in helping the 49ers to a 2-0 start, including defeating the Los Angeles Rams 30-23 last Sunday. Giants vs 49ers Props #1: Deebo Samuel Receptions
Deebo Samuel leads the 49ers with 16 targets through two games. That is two more than fellow wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. Aiyuk has been slowed by a sore shoulder this week and his availability will be a game-time decision.
Thus, it seems logical to think quarterback Brock Purdy will often look in Samuel’s direction. Samuel has 11 receptions for 118 yards so far this season.

Samuel had five catches in the season-opening win over the Pittsburgh Steelers then six last week against the Rams when he finished with 101 combined rushing and receiving yards. It was the first time Samuel cracked trip digits since Week 4 of last season, when he was admittedly out of shape, after doing so eight times in 2021.

Giants vs 49er Props #2: Matt Breida Rushing Yards
Journeyman Matt Breida figures to get the bulk of the carries for the Giants with Barkley sidelined. Barkley has accounted for 29 of his team’s 33 rushing attempts by running backs this season with Breida getting three and Gary Brightwell one.
Breida has been productive in his limited number of rushes with 14 yards and a touchdown.
Since 2020, Breida has just 142 carries in 40 games and started just twice. However, he did crack 100 yards rushing five times combined in the 2018 and 2019 seasons while playing for the 49ers.

Yards will be hard to come by against the 49ers, who are third in the NFL against the run. Yet with the rushing yards bar set at just 32.5, it is a number Breida can hurdle in the Giants vs 49ers props.

McCaffrey’s scoring chances are also aided by the fact that he remains one of the few true three-down running backs in the NFL. He has been on the field for 92% of the 49ers’ offensive snaps in 2023.
