A mysterious illness at one point afflicted six players. However, as the week’s was ending, so were the effects of the sickness. All of the ailing Packers were able to return to a full slate of practice on Friday.

Speaking of sick, dig this – in Week 12 of the NFL season, with December just around the corner, the Eagles are showing no first-string players with an injury designation.

Green Bay Packers Injury Report

The strange illness was impacting six players. Afflicted were tight end Robert Tonyan, kicker Mason Crosby, safety Tariq Carpenter, wide receiver Randall Cobb, safety Rudy Ford and tackle Rasheed Walker. All were back practicing on Friday with no injury designation.

Only one Packers player is being ruled out for the SNF game. WR Romeo Doubs will miss his third successive game due to an ankle injury.

Starting left tackle David Bakhtiari (knee) and backup cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles (ankle) are each listed as questionable. Expectations are for both to be playing against the Eagles, though.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers isn’t showing an injury designation. However, published reports are indicating that he’s playing with an avulsion fracture of his right thumb.

Philadelphia Eagles Injury Report

If you’re considering a play in the Packers vs Eagles player props, Eagles QB Jalen Hurts and all of his weapons are coming into this game healthy.

The closest the Eagles had to an injury issue this week was at wide receiver. AJ Brown (liness) and DeVonta Smith (knee) both missed some practice time earlier this week. However, each wideout was back on the field with full involvement in practice by the end of the week.

You have to go deep into the Eagles depth chart to locate injured players. Backup defensive end Janarius Robinson is on injured reserve. Third-string center Brett Toth (knee) is out.

How Could Injuries Affect Packers vs Eagles Lines?

Expectations are that as soon as the Packers are officially eliminated from the NFL playoff picture, the team will be placing Rodgers on injured reserve.

Green Bay LILB De’Vondre Campbell (knee) was returning to practice this week. He’s been out since suffering his injury in the Week 8 SNF game at Buffalo. However, the 2021 All-Pro selection is being listed as doubtful to play in this game.

The Packers were also losing backup guard Sean Rhyan this week. The rookie was suspended for the rest of the season after violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substance policy.

Green Bay is activating RB Patrick Taylor and safety Innis Gaines from the practice roster to suit up for this game.

Defensive line is really the only area in which Philadelphia is experiencing any injury issues. Robinson is back at practice and should be activated in the near future. Derek Barnett, Jordan Davis and Marion Tuipulotu are other Eagles DL on IR.

However, the recent addition of veterans Linval Joseph and Ndamukong Suh to the roster is strengthening the DL depth of the Eagles.
